I need to say this loud, this has been the best episode of the whole series so far. The more they show us this hate-love they have for each other, the more I love how complex is Mrs. Coulter. She loves her, even tho Lyra cannot forget all the mistakes she made. I loved and cried with every sec of that fight scene. I tried to put all her feelings together in this video, hope I made it.

She loves Lyra, because she sees Lyra as another version of herself, she controls Lyra because she can't control her own life. She hurts lyra, because she won't even hesitate to hurt herself too. She's the most scaring mother I've ever seen.

I agree. Ruth Wilson is without a doubt the best actress ever existed to portray Mrs. Coulter. She even go further and deeper on Maria's feelings. She's given her this mix of lack of morality and yet she has humanity. It's extremely complex. I adore Ruth's work.

Mrs Coulter is so complex. I think Ruth Wilson's portrayal of her is superb in that she is able to speak alot of Marissa's thoughts aloud. It's almost like her biggest regret was not raising her daughter with Asriel

Me encantaaa, sublime. Esa pausa de incertidumbre y de repente REENCUENTRO, mary/marisa estoy shippeando como una perra jajajaja los parallels, LYRA ES COMO SU MADRE le guste o no, obvio no 100% pero una parte de ella si. Marisa sólo quiere lo mejor para su hija pero no sabe como ser una madre, esta tan rota por dentro... EL MOMENTO QUITARSE LA LAGRIMA ME ROMPE. Esta canción es perfecta para ellas!!!!!!!! Diooooos quiero tanto videarlas o a marisa pero es q no puedo tengo mil videos obligados pa este mes, pero a ver si saco hueco próx semanas

Estoy 100% de acuerdo, esta tan rota que no sabe cómo ser una madre y hacer las cosas bien, pero se nota que la quiere de verdad y que la quiere proteger por encima de todo.
