An in depth review of the Cadillac Lyriq Tech trim vs the Lyriq Luxury Level 2. Discussing the key features and differences between the two versions. An owners perspective.
Thanks very much for the tour of your Lyriq tech model. It saved me considerable time trying to learn all of the differences from the sport and luxury models. Very informative.
Thanks for the honest review. I have liked and subscribed. You never mention the Luxury or Sport Level 1. I drove a level 1 Sport. By far best EV I have driven. No comparison with the model Y. The Model Y has that plain interior, very rough ride, and no buttons for convenience. The GV70 EV was the closest to the Lyric but the Lyriq is even a better ride and better value. I'm going to look up the difference between Lyriq Level 1 & 2 but will probably end up with a Hyundai Ionic 5 as the Lyric is beyond my budget.
My Mother has the Red Passion Tricoat XT5 and I'm sure she'd love to have a Radiant Red Lyriq. She loves my Lyriq. Argent Silver, 22's, Sky Cool Grey interior, SPORT 3 with 19KW charger and Power Moonroof. The issue, however, is that I doubt she has the patience for public charging and she'd need the NEMA 14-50 port added onto her house for home charging. She's retired and doesn't drive many miles per week but as an older woman, I'm sure she's more comfortable with gas. The XT5 and XT6 use regular unleaded and fully loaded COST LESS than my Lyriq by far. Hard to sell Lyriqs here lately.
Thanks for the video! I have the tech version and my one complaint is that the sound system does kind of suck. Even when you put it at it at max volume it still is not very loud. I thought I had a defective sound system actually when I first got the car
Thanks for the review, I am looking at the Lyriq. I have a 2013 CTS4 and the stereo system is a Bose and is wonderful. Just wondering if the sport or luxury have a comparable sound system?
The upper dashboard to upper door alignment is horrifically bad on the left side of the car. It would drive me nuts to look at that every day. Is there anyway they can fix it? These are beautiful cars, but when I look at them on the lot, there are way too many fit and finish issues.
So basically if you don’t need the super cruise it’s better to get the blazer with options for cheaper lease and car insurance from what I’m gathering.
