@@hamzaahmad9527 as long as there is any elite alive, nemesis will have a shield that protects him from the first attack of the turn. Besides that, each alive elite gives +3 to every stat to nemesis
“What will you do with that big sword? Do you plan to slay me? You better make it count. You better make it painful. You better kill me in one shot.” *Enemy leaves Lysithea at 1 HP* *DEFIANT CRIT* *DEFIANT MAG* *VANTAGE*
I found funny how many 1 turn of this map use complex strategys that look asome while mine is literaly just warp Claude and Byleth, break the shield with Claude and oneshot Nemesis with Byleth (Yes, I found a way to oneshot Nemesis with Byleth in Maddening without killing the Elites).
Most FE final bosses can be easily one-shot due to how busted the damage increase from crits is. Only exceptions are the ones with multiple health bars obviously and the Fates final bosses since their Dragonskin reduces crits to 1.5 damage unlike Awakening or 3H's version.
I never honeslty thought to make Lysithea a Swordmaster. She seems more powerful as a magic user (I have her as a Dark Flier for my most recent playthrough)
@@Xeconis True, but I have the issue of assigning people roles (DPS/Support/Tank). Helps me play the game easier. So people like Dedue and Raphael are Tanks bc they are awesome fortess knights, Felix is obv a DPS with his high crit rate, and Mercedes is Support
@@Bayleaf6399 Can you elaborate more about your (DPS/Support/Tank) method of playing? Do you have like multiple Fortresses in your team? Do you group them to 3-3-3 (non-last chapter) , 3-3-3-3 (last chp.) ? Thats a very cool method of playing ngl
@@fukunaga-kane I split the roles depending on how many characters are allowed in a battle and who I choose, but I always try to have an even number. If 12 are allowed, I might choose 2 tanks, 4 healers and 6 dps, then split them into two teams of 6. Im very strategic with these types of games
The magic happens because Lysithia doesn't necessarily need magic spells, she needs magic damage. A forged Levin Sword or Blutgang works, gives a bigger evo boost with Mastery, and most units take magic hits worse than physical one anyway. Swordmaster has the Astra class skill, which is a murder button on basically anything. The class also gives fat speed buffs and partly patches her terrible strength by simply acquiring the class, negating some weapon weight; those spells are heavy AF, which limit doubling severely) She can double (and avoid, important) more naturally because of this, as both magic sword options are lighter than half her spell list. It turns the frailest backline sniper into a frontline massacre. If you don't care about having a dancer, she can nab the Sword Avo +20 and even assassins are going to struggle getting over 20 hit on normal mode.
Literal perfection. Keep up the good work. Blutgang Lysithea is one of my personal fav combos bc Lysithea as a sword weilder is just the pinnacle to me.
The main thing Astra benefits from is multiple rolls for critical hits. If you can’t get your swordmaster to super high critical rates, it’s actually fairly handy.
@@megarotom1590 Yeah but that's assuming you are doubling which might not be the case. Even when you could kill by doubling sometimes it's better to kill before taking a counterattack. Honestly I think Astra is just "mid" definitely not Hunter's Volley's level but not garbage like a lot people pretend it is either. I find it perfectly serviceable and it works well with high crits builds and certain crests. Overall if I want a sword unit, Swordmaster is far from the bottom of my list on what class to use.
@@eroraf8637 that's fair...but if you get one crit, that only brings the damage to just over a double attack (so probably still worse than the triple hit punch or the double attack bow combat arts), and there are combat arts that boost crit and weapons that boost crit as well but don't have a ton of durability... That being said, I think single range weapons are eh in 3h in general
I’m a lil baby who only plays on Normal difficulty casual AF- I had no idea you could do such crazy movements in this game! People who are super serious about this are amazing!
I love Lysithea... I get why she hated being treated like a child and she's basically a Fire Emblem tactical nuke with the powerful spell she's able to learn. Plus? She's also a spell-sword capable of wielding Thundetbrand AND the staff of the Glaucester family... If you actually put time into developing Lysithea? You'll see she's well worth all that trouble... Also? Buy her plenty of sweets as rewards for her successes.
Great video, but I need to know where this music is from as it sounds so familiar but I can’t seem to place it. If anyone is able to tell me I will be quite thankful
Honestly went into this thinking it would be mortal savant lys with soulblade. I'm pleasantly surprised regardless, sword lysithea is supremely cultured.
honestly since i have no idea what the hell is going on i was gonna click away when she did 0 dmg at first and almost died, but then it kept going. my god, what the hell is swordmaster lysithea with that combat art and all those buffs
I do always enjoy watching Lysithea kick ass. Especially against the dark powers. I like to imagine her holding a cultist by the throat, pouring magical energy down his throat. "It was so kind of you to give me all this power. But I'm more than happy to share."
@@ashenwolf98 The fact you get +1 range *and* Canto means a lot. Valkyrie+Thyrsus+Dark Magic Range +1+Canto means Lysithea has a "free" range of 9 squares where she can move 3 spaces, fire a spell 6 spaces away, and then canto to back where she began outside enemy range.
Dark Flier despite its name only gives Black Tomefaire, not Dark Tomefaire. It also has 4 less magic than Valkyrie, so you're wasting the class on her.
@@alexread6767 Don't think so. You wouldn't attack with them on enemy phase, unlike Bolting or Meteorite But yeah, siege tome support boost is the reason people like Dorothea as a Dancer, because she won't be attacking with it anyway
It's the combat arte you get for mastering the swordmaster class, and units who have it can only use it while they are swordmasters. Like Hunter's Volley and snipers
Seems it recharges once every turn. Also, each living elite gives him +3 to stats, which means +30 if they're all still alive. I just blast my way through the entire map. It's more fun like that
Probably because everyone and their mom overplayed God Shattering Star to death and its gotten a little stale as a result. It's still a good song, but too much of a good thing is still bad.
Ok. Can someone explain how that one girl moved like 5 times? Did he just have like 3 dancers? The girl woth the blonde and blue hair. I never got the dlc. Also why was she part of the gambit boost?
For the movement I believe it was a combination of dancer/dance gambit and canto from being a mounted unit for the number of times moved for the gambit boost she had a long range spell equipped meaning since she could hit the unit if she attacked with the equipped spell she can support the gambit used on said unit
It is probably Dark Knight or Valkyrie realistically but Sword Lysithea kicks ass because she can fully wield Thunderbrand AND Thyrsus, learns Soul Blade, and is quite fast and high one of if not the highest Dex (Skill) in the game. Also, Levin Sword. She can use Blutgang too as seen here but not the special combat art only Marianne can use.
Ye. Dark Knight, Valkyrie, or Dark Flier. Dark Knight for raw damage, Valkyrie for that range, Dark Flier for mobility. Mix and match as you need, she can pretty easily have all three ready. Gremory is roughly interchangeable with Bishop, the only reason you do it is for the extra Warp use. Gremory gets you a tiny bit more range due to the Magic, but really. As far as just qualifications go, Armor Knight is a fantastic pick, since she gets so much out of the stat adjustment. Paladin is easy to pick up on the way to Dark Knight, and will usually get her a bunch of Strength to offset weight. If you're staying more or less vanilla, make double sure to not pass up Bishop, it has decent defensive stats if you skipped Armor Knight. Magic Weapon Lysithea is a funny meme, and in a vacuum, she's arguably the best at it, and Mastermind offsets her banes, but the opportunity cost of it is pretty high, since you're sacrificing her capacity as an orbital bombardment platform, compared to meming with say, Annette who has nothing else going for her. Still, hilariously, she's legitimately better in a class like Armor Knight or Swordmaster than at least half of the cast because of how absurdly good her strengths are. She's genuinely better at being an Armor Knight or Paladin than in-house Ingrid.
