Thinking that after they came out from x factor, someone told they wouldn't never last more than few weeks, it still makes me laugh..
Damiano (the singer) is the main song writer. Somethimes the band helps too but its mostly him. Its so unbelievable to me that he’s so young but can write like that. Like he’s only 22 now but when he was 17/18 he also wrote amazing songs.
Often songs are made where besides the music, let's say, there is almost nothing. This band, on the other hand, in addition to the music also has good lyrics with a deep meaning !
The more I see the way you react, the more I fall in love with you. Maneskin is like oxygen for your brain, everybody's brain indeed , and you seem to use your brain in the right way. You've got the message. Bravo! Keep on listening to the Maneskin and the Italian music in general. It's a world apart. Welcome to the club bro!
Yea, i love your reactions because it's clear you want to understand the deep meaning of the song, not only listen to it and tell a few words random to publish a video... bravo!
hi, I'm the Italian "old aunt" ", I'm twenty a couple of times and I can't stop listening to them. I've always preferred rock and metal music, which unfortunately came only with them. I listen to your reactions, and I sense your sensitivity. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when I was eighteen, and I wrote poetry in the hospital as a young girl. the sentence of one of these says "I am grateful to life for the sweetness of its wound, but I cannot find wise words to face what I feel." in Italian there would be the rhyme but I hope you understand. Thanks for your passion
I'm even a little older and loving them too! Have you ever tried to add "ancora solo" to the "c'ho vent'anni" line and see how the song still works (maybe even better for us old guys) ?
I have been listening to this album without knowing Italian and this was my favourite. First time understanding the lyrics. It hit me straight in the heart. I'm tearing up. What a message!
If you’re concerned maneskin are making you soft you’ve got to listen to In nome del padre and/or Lividi sui gomiti. You’re gonna have quite a different reaction, guaranteed
That pure intention was such a part inherent to rock music, but we don’t really remember that, because years ago all that drive was leveled by disillusions. It’s amazing how this aspect could have survived and re-emerged now!
after listening to almost all the songs of the group, I noticed one thing: songs in English are usually about "falling in love", parties, and songs in Italian - with a deep meaning about individuality, personal problems. Of course, the Italian language does not prevent us from enjoying their songs with beautiful lyrics, but I do not quite understand what this is due to
The song is a message of self-esteem and courage to all young people in the world because it talks about situations that anyone in their twenties must face ... The first part is the point of view of adults, their expectations towards twenty-year-olds. The second is her point of view, the third is a message to all boys and girls
victoria literally put them together in a band and she also founded the name of the band cause she's half danish. Måneskin in danish means moonlight. I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING THEM FROM 3 YEARS NOW AND YES THEY ARE AMAZING! saluti dall'italiaa
Probabilmente è il testo più forte di Damiano. Tosto nell'essere se stessi, non vendersi l'anima al denaro ed essere ricordato per ciò che sei in un mondo tuo vissuto di colori. Vento fresco in un mondo uniformato. Grande Damiano.
There is an official video for this song, too. Now that you know the meaning of the words, you will appreciate the video even more. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XD77aMyCv0Q.html
20x3 Sicuramente è una fonte di ispirazione per questa gioventù ora così soffocata e repressa La sua è una ribellione costruttiva. I messaggi che manda sono ascolta la parte più vera e genuina della sua anima, non il suo ego.
The best thing: they already have an EP and two albums out (plus a third one should be released later this year). Whichever song you pick, they never disappoint. Even the covers they performed while on X factor sound like their own songs. Different styles, different rhythm and energy, amazing every time.
You Want to discover more the more you discover, and more you listen to them more you go deep inside. Its a journey. We are all rock outside but soft inside.
I've seen a lot of reaction to my beloved Maneskins, but yours are killing me. Thanks again from an Italian, I have commented on each of your videos. I love that you appreciate the text, it makes me so happy!
The word you don't seem to dare to say in your reaction amidst the many you express is: poetry. What they write and sing is simply poetry. Nothing than poetry. Period.
I love your Maneskin reactions so much! I can't stop listening to their music since Eurovision. I really hope you will be doing more reactions to their songs (just do the whole album 😏😂), because I really like the way you're concentrating not only on the music, but also on these beautiful lyrics. All the best from Germany ❤️
As u rightly said.. this is the music that we need.. indeed! they are the perfect combination of lyrics full of meaning and never banal and a powerful and absolutely acoustic musical structure that follows the text in a sublime way .. you don't need a thousand words, sometimes incomprehensible, but the skill lies in describing the emotion and the concept with a few words written WELL .. and måneskin in this are the best !!
Love how you react not just to music and voice, but also to be lyrics, how you pay special attention to what the song says to us. If you're going to react again to Måneskin next I'd go with "For your love", that's in English. I adore the Led Zeppelin's vibes at the beginning of that song 🖤.
Oh God I totally agree with you. I'm 29 too, and this song is like a punch in my face, always makes me cry, and maybe the worst part is realize that the 20's is almost over and our youth too.
i'd like to share with you the way someone with double your age can still really appreciate this song. The way i'm twenty is said in italian is literally "i've got twenty years" and adding a little "only" and "left" there older people (like me ;-) ) can read this song as "i've got (only) twenty years (left)". And the funny thing is that the song still works!
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I. I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." R. Frost. (and cited in the film "Dead poets society) If you like this spirit, you'll like the film. Måneskin could have been the modern soundtrack...
You catched the right pronunciation of " vent'anni" at the first shot! the second was actually wrong !! 😂anyway I love your reacts to Maneskin's song! Greetings from Italy 💕
LOVE YOUR REACTION this lyrics seems to be a letter written to ourselfs when we were 20 years old i trully love this song :) (for the record i'm 53 now)
You are so nice and cute and I really like the way you FEEL the lyrics, as an Italian myself it is the first time ever I see so much appreciation for our bellissima lingua...thank you Måneskin❤️🤟
