Yes. All Eurovision entries must be performed in the native language, just like it used to be. The EBU needs to abolish the free language rule and return the Eurovision to its roots.

What I meant was that, in order to have a chance to win Eurovision, most countries sing in English (which I find regrettable btw) but Italy doesn't and still wins or ranks high. I never said it was a rule or anything, I was just praising the fact that Italy remained faithful to its culture and language and still managed to make a huge success worldwide.

Actually, they did great with the juries, unexpectedly so. They got 206 points from them, and 318 from the televote. They were the 4th with the jury vote, after Switzerland (267), France (248) and Malta (208), with only 2 points more than Italy.

2022 and 23 have been quite the letdowns compared to 2021 but honestly today's quality is quite high compared to the editions before 2019 (19 was also quite good ❤hatari). 2021 was just so outstandingly good that everything will pale in comparison for quite some time to go. Still regularly listen to Måneskin and Go_A and The Roop.

Days ago, Måneskin came to Mexico City, it was the first time I went to a concert, and watching this video again, it's so incredible that a band whose won Eurovision, besides ABBA has turned so shocking on the music world. This video is already a classic icon in music. Full power and talent. The concept of visuals , the way the cameras move, the opening singing behind the band, the angle changes, and the rock explosion in the clímax of the song ( fire, fireworks and lights ) is amazingly perfect.

This is outside Eurovision. This doesn't even feel like Eurovision, it feels more like an actual Måneskin concert.
