Having broken onto the scene last year with her sweet beats and sugarcoated sounds, MØ is back with No Mythologies to Follow, the dreamy debut album forever on repeat at i-D HQ. But she still managed to sell quite a few records.. :) Or how about Aretha Franklin, Adele, Amy Winehouse, and many more.. Fortunately there are still some female artists who can sell records without selling sex.. But yes.. Most of the music industry is close to rock bottom now a days..

MØ has the face and body to be able to conform to the general standards of "beauty", if she wanted to. The choice of an on-top oriented pony tail combined with baggy/loose cloathing makes me feel a vibe of carelessness. Which is cool, because when I see this in a clip that features awkward dancing moves it feels *genuine*. Even if it is intentional, its done well so it works to reinforce that it is all about the music and staying true to the artist. Mad props.

Can't get enough of this song-- harmonies, counterpoint and melodies are on point. The dissonance keeps it fresh and different from other songs in the album. Also, I'm totally getting an Audrey Hepburn vibe from the girl on the left with hair pulled to the back. She's also in the middle 2:23.

Love this song.Only heard about this artist after I heard ''Lean on'' and I'm hooked. Can't believe she recorded her whole album herself,in her bedroom. Saw MØ twice and met her and I have to say that she is an amazing performer and a super sweet person! I love how weird and awkward she is and how much she just doesn't seem to care how weird and awkward she is. ;) Reminds me of myself in high school, if I had been half that cool!
