For those wondering, the acronym in the term “HALO jump” stands for “High Altitude, Low Opening.” It is a stealth tactic meant to allow the jumper to land without (hopefully) being detected. The parachute is opened relatively close to the ground. Besides the risk of falling injuries (potentially fatal), there’s also the risk of decompression sickness (AKA “the bends”) from such among other dangers. DEFINITELY NOT for the faint of heart.
And genuinely righteous people are nice to be around. People that tell you who they are through good deeds, not through empty words. Many people cling to religion like a life preserver but do not live the Word nor practice what they preach. But the rare people who are consistent in word and deed stand out like they have an aura from a Renaissance painting.
Kinda wish he had on the mask on from the beginning, then when he reached the ground he unmasks for the first time. But the “spread your wings” part and somersault into dive with the plane in the background always gives me chills
I thought that was how it always went. When he’s just about to go over the cliff after hitting the trees, he has to disconnect from his chute, and then takes the mask off finally. Maybe different versions Also I just realized, he has his mask off in the beginning lolol, before he even makes the jump. But yeah, it would have been cool to have him just chilling, ready to jump from the start and ye. But yeah this opening is amazing! My favourite of the trilogy
I just hope they don’t change the flips snake makes in mid air when he jumps like they did in the pachinko version they remove that and made it simple and look trash.
