These are easily the overall greatest content series for Insurgency on the tubes. Your editing and humor are top notch. I know they take forever, but your effort truly shows and the quality shines.
I fucking love the m240b, i work on these almost everyday and for what the marines put them through on a daily basis they rarely break. when they do break its extremely simple to fix them.
The gas regulator is still there on the dismounted version it’s that weird looking knob underneath the barrel. That gun also works way better on setting 2 or 3 setting 1 is the fastest way to get a stoppage
I’ve never fired a 240 but the FN MAG has a full travel gas regulator. It winds all the way out/in but only the last nine clicks will successfully cycle the action. All the way in makes it sound like an MG42. Nine clicks out is an intoxicatingly perfect industrial drumbeat. Feels somewhere between 500 and 600 rpm.
@@d_prac my only experience is with the C6 and setting 3 also sounds like a mg42 and setting 1 definitely sounds like a drum. Setting 2 is the best setting imo
After 700hs in the game, learning to control the recoil without a bipod and efficiently hip-fire this gun, is the most fun I've had in Sandstorm. Slams the shit outta those kids bro

I usually rock the heavy carrier for both demolition and gunner only. As you can get 3 box magazines with gunner (which you should as your job is to suppress) and for demolition, it gives two rockets if you have launcher, plus option for under-barrel grenade launcher (you should be using as no other class can), which also gives you an extra explosive, very useful. I don’t think it’s necessary for most other classes and the weight reductions plus points for other areas is the way to go
It's one of the best run and gun gunner weapons. I put a laser on it before I put a optic on to hip fire through the smaller maps on Dom. It saves some time you lose with the open bolt.
Back in Insurgency 1 where (the only belt-fed) M249 had way too much recoil, I’d prefer the laser to be able to point-shoot without aiming with the bipod deployed, or hip-fire in a pinch.
I don't know if we are even getting an update anytime soon but I play this game because it came out on Xbox so its more accessible and I love guns and this game has satisfying gunplay with a super fast tim to kill Guns I want to see in this game RPK 47 and 74 M27 IAR M1014 Saiga 12 RPD U100 ultimax Tabuk or an M70 in 8mm PSG 1 or G3SG1 Just guns I'd like to see because I think they are cool

Not used as a rifle squad level asset in the US. They are consolidated into their owns weapons squad to be employed as needed by the platoon. The 249 fulfills the squad level requirement for machinegun go brrrt
I never understood why people take armor. Even while wearing the heavier set, you still get one shot by nearly everything. So I ditch it for free points
Personally I think the better choice is the 249 bc of the 200rnds and plus in modes like push it’s better to have the faster fire rate for spray transfers since you’ve got more congested areas with larger groups of people
I hope NWI starts updating the game again because there have been a lot of persistent bugs plaguing the game for a minute - Such as things related to player collision, impacts and particles, jumping, running acceleration, the user interface, etc. Was super into this shit for a minute but I hardly play it now, I wish they'd bring back the OG Insurgency maps and implement more customization options for the guns themselves instead of all these skins and purchasable cosmetics... CO-OP AI could use some work too, maybe some actual organized units instead of dudes that just run out into the open and start firing in any given direction they detect movement. More focus on CQB type elements could be fun too, recently I hardly ever see anyone working together to clear off a tight street or closed building - Just pure running and gunning or people camping in the corner with a shotgun. I like to feel like I'm playing something that is tactical and hardcore, not CoD on... well... Hardcore mode.
I like this gun, but i don't find it super consistent with one shots. The PKM is more consistent against limbs but loses a bit of consistency against armor at range, but 7,62x51 AP can be inconsistent on limb shots and on certain body shots. That said, the main thing that makes me not like this gun so much is the atrocious visual recoil, especially using 4x sights. There is no way to know where you are shooting without a laser.
1:15 are you talking about the mg3 or mg5 here, because if you meant the mg3, the manufacturer is Rheinmetall, if youre talking about the Mg5, its worth it.
I would use the QBZ 97 for insurgent riflemen and G36 for security riflemen. These both have very good value and cheap attachments. Either MP5 for breacher class they are very accurate and have very good range with little recoil, the mk18 CQBR and Alpha AK for advisor (really low recoil and good damage), the M24 and Mosin for marksmen, and the M249 SAW and PKM for gunners.
Machine guns need horizontal grips and Eothech machine gun sight both would be setting correct since they’re commonly set up like that by us marines and soldiers
Most of military branch in the world use gpmg like this laying prone and using the bipod, however zenitco have a canted front grip to use it with pkm and still cleared the box mag
It really wasn't. The M240 could get off up to 4 million rounds before they needed to replace it while the M60's life span could be as low as 150k rounds.
