Great memories.. i been fall in love with this 2 norwegian girls since 1999 up to present.. there voice/talent is perfect chemistry, specially on there 1st album "Shades of Purple" and then, on asia tour i see this to girls @ Sm Megamall. I am a fan from the Philippines...Please..I beg you ..Marion and Marit...Im not good at verbalizing things..but M2M songs are connected to our childhood..you could see the comments that most of them were having nostalgia listening to your music..Its like you are our childhood and theres something sad happend and now that were adults and everything changed..I wanna do something about it...I know things changes and we cant go back but please just one..All I just wanna say is that.I need to see you both singing together before I die...Please!!! A new Marit and a new Marrion singing together ..please! I hope all the fans of the m2m would post and do something to say how much they want a reunion...
As much as I would like them to have a reunion too, Marit seems to be dead set on moving on from M2M. Her song "I don't wanna talk about it" summarizes her feeling about the breakup. She felt slighted when their company broke them up only to give Marion a solo record deal, but now Marit has come up on top. But who knows, time can heal all wounds. 😉
(I'm still continuing...) But yes, like you, I miss M2m. I wish they can at least have one performance together just for old time's sake. I even wish more so that I can see them perform together live. Just once. Because it was Marion AND Marit that I come to love and admire. Not just Marion; not just Marit.

I think it is their mall tour at SM Megamall.,I was there watching them live.,and i bought their special edition album with additional track and a signatured pocket calendar.,
I assume their relationship became weary as time goes on, and it became uncomfortable around the time of their break-up. As I've said with my own experience, it became difficult knowing that a really close friend of mine and I lost a spark. There's no bitter feelings, but it wasn't the same as it used to be, and there's no use to try to pretend everything's the same. Marit and Marion seemed to understand at least a little of that concept even if there was sad emotions going on inside them...
Again, I've been in a similar situation as Marion's; but to put it in my speculation, I assume you have seen Marit's interview? The one with her quote & quote "Let me put it this way..." one? Well there was this rare Marion interview I came across unintentionally, and read it from there. From what I can recall from that article, Marion said she and Marit, promised right about the creation of M2m that if it ever become no longer fun to be M2m then they would break up. Putting the 2 interviews...
And as of today, I'm not sure what they think of it now, but it isn't as uncomfortable, if there's any at all, as it was back in 2002. I do see it as they have come embrace to it now, and that they don't feel awkward to talk one another. Maybe their friendship isn't that strong anymore, but there's a certainty that they still have some place for another in their hearts. But it's just my speculations; I apologize for typing so much. I'm more serious for such a topic because they're lacking of it.
@HoshiChika The article also said Marit tried to reach Marion through her company but the people said that Marion "refused" (quote) to talk to her. Marion admits that she wants it this way in an interview as well. Even if Marion chases record sales, she can still be friends with Marit. How can u throw away ur best friend from 5 years old for sales? Watch M2M's videos. Marit is always herself (cute n lovable) but Marion seems to put up a show like she's exclusive.
@nookyMom Marit is ready to set out her third album, while Marion is on a Norwegian Idol-like show while working on her second album (I guess Set me Free would be considered her second, but for the most part, it's pretty much the same as Here I Am but just as a North America release)
