Since Disney channel has disney replay were they show old tv programs such even Stevens , Lizzie McGuire I wish show more on Friday nights especially weekends disney should bring it back on re runs since their aren't much to watch anyway it's always the same stuff ! I wish more people just sign a petition .

+Jay Twix A lot of this can be easily googled, and they have social media that you can follow (via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or even their own websites). But if you want it easier for you to read in a semi-coherent (I say semi because it's hard for me to explain without rambling and making grammar mistakes. X_X), then I can elaborate it as best as I can--the good and the bad. As a fan who has been following them since I was like...ten-years-old...ish? So please keep that in mind that a lot of the information I gather is from old sites and videos, and a lot of my understanding of the bits and pieces that happened between their music career and personal life. So here is a lengthy summary. 8'D LONG STORY SHORT: Marion went rock and then went back to pop almost a decade later, while Marit continued to do pop music and had her most famous song call If a Song Could Get Me You. They have been in contact in recent years and are friends, though maybe not as close as they used to be. LONG STORY: They broke up for numerous reasons. I think a big straining between them was because they were constantly together everyday, and from numerous articles, they would try to go on in their everyday life apart from one another a lot when they weren't touring or as M2M. I guess as a way to give each other space. Marion, in an old online article, said Marit and herself promised that they wouldn't be M2M anymore if it no longer was fun (she even said brought up this topic in a Norwegian TV show that I will mention again). But I believe the biggest factor was that they wanted to do different music. Marion wanted to go rock, while Marit wanted to continue to do pop music. But also, The Big Room didn't sold as well as Shades of Purple did, and it wouldn't be surprising if the record company decided to drop the band but saw potential in Marion since she was easier to market. People kept saying that Marion dumped Marit for a million dollar contract, but really she turned down the offer because, again, she wanted to make music she wanted to make and not what the company wanted her to be. Also, people really wanted to make Marion look like the bad guy while making Marit look like the victim from the whole mess--which I'll try my best to describe why through a lengthy summary in the last decade. About ten years ago, Marion made an album called Here I Am, and she toured around Asia. Her new sound was rock-ish and dark from angry break up songs (Break You) to forlorn songs about love (For You I'll Die). People who knew Marion beforehand were turned off by it because it was a completely 180 turn from her bubble pop music in M2M, but really, I didn't find it shocking if you had follow her career and watch some of the interviews when she was in M2M. But people really did not like her new sound or look. Because of that, her attempt to get her rock music out suffered, as she has an unreleased album called Nevermore that will never surface to the public. I believe only a few fans got to hear it, but I'm not one of them. Anyways, she went to do a Norwegian's version of X Factor as a judge and became a couch. During that time, she voiced Rapunzel in the Norwegian's version of Disney's Tangled. She also went on a Norwegian show about musicians gathering together and play music. Being on that show helped her with Norwegian audience, and she went to star in a Norwegian film and do other things. She released an album call Songs from a Blackbird, which is a completelyyyyy different from Here I Am. Keep in mind that it's been years since she had a new album, and I assume she was really influenced by her Norwegian peers to play more folky, 70's-ish inspired pop music (but her parents also loved 70's music so she grew up with that too). She really opened up about her M2M days, unlike in her older interviews where she wouldn't go deep into the topic. I think she wanted to appeal to Norwegian listeners after years of struggling, which I think her rock music had not been appreciated as it really deserved. But in recent years, she had her first album in a long time released called Songs from a Blackbird in 2013. She got more exposed and seemed to finally have an audience. She seems to be really eager to put out music as quick as she can, as she has been getting albums out each year since Songs from a Blackbird. Roughly a year after that released, she had another album out that was split into two parts, and recently she has stated she hopes to get another album out next year. She had also been dating a snowboarder named Andreas and eventually married him about two years ago. It's been confirm by Marion's manager that they divorced, but there hasn't been confirmation from Marion or Andreas (or my knowledge). Marit Larsen, on the other hand, took time off from music after the breakup because it was draining, but she came back eventually. She said she wasn't sure if she wanted to do music as a career again, but I don't remember if she explained specially why she came back. Her new music, while still pop, was way different from her M2M days. As she likes to call it, "pop music with no rules." Her first album, Under the Surface, did well in Norway, but it was her second album, The Chase, that did even better---or should I say song? Her single If a Song Could Get Me You from The Chase did soooooooo well in Germany and other countries. So well that it became number 1 in Germany for numerous weeks. People just love that song so much, but it wasn't until this year I found out that there are Germans who despise this song buuuuut I'm not going to delve that much into that. But yeah, If a Song Could Get Me You is, without a doubt, her most famous song. Because of that, she was able to release her some of her singles from Under the Surface to Germany and compile Under the Surface and The Chase as a compliance album as the same name as her most popular song. Years later Marit has two other albums (the third called Spark, and the fourth called When the Morning Comes). Charts-wise, they could never match up to her compliance album, and neither could her later singles. Marit hasn't had another song to peek as high as If a Song Could Get Me You, and it only seems that with each album, they're ranked lower and lower in the music billiard in Germany and other countries. BUT! That isn't to say that she isn't doing well. She has gathered a large following, and those who follow her closely adore her tenfold. It has been confirmed by Marit that she's working on music for her next album. Marit is also more closed off about her personal life, and there's only bits I can tell you about her personal life. She dated Thom Hell who toured with her during If a Song Could Get Me You era, but he left when they broke up because she thought it was best for her. And from what another close fan said, her father remarried. In a more recent video, there was a interview in Norwegian that talked her about an article from a Norwegian magazine called KK that she didn't know that she had a boyfriend in 2014 so the interviewer asked her if she had a boyfriend in 2014, but she answered that she did. Their images throughout the years are the main factors as to why one was treated different from the other, especially in Norway. Norway has prominently favored a more "quiet" and "don't stand out from other people in the crowd" (I cannot remember the proper Norwegian term for this) attitude, even though Norway is evolving through each generation. Marion was the more confident one, while Marit was more humble. So it is easy to see why it happened the way that it did. As for Marion and Marit keeping in contact, I heard that Marit tried to contact Marion after the break up, but she didn't respond. But I did read from an interview with Marit that they have listened to each other's first solo album, so I don't know how the two stories would match up. They didn't seem to be in much contact for many years, but Marit did appeared in an episode when Marion was in her X-Factor days if I remember correctly. Since then (at the latest), they have been in contact, but I don't know how much. Marit doesn't follow Marion on Instagram even though Marion follows her (and how posted and tagged Marit in a few photos), but she follows Marion on Twitter. As for collaborating in music, Marion is open-minded about it, but Marit doesn't wants to do that as she has answered this in an interview. She didn't flat out said no about having one concert with Marion, but I don't think she'd consider it so hard about. One can only dream though, haha. I, for one, wants to go to a concert if it happens (because I never got the chance to since I was way too young), but I'm okay that they won't ever reunite as M2M. @Jay Twix; they both have successful music careers and have active FB pages. Ravn had a hit song in several countries when she did a duet with Meatloaf on Bat out of Hell 3. She has also been a judge on Norwegian Xfactor. Last spring she toured with Lionel Richie as his opening act. Marion was wed to an athlete in 2013. Larsen got a music degree and performed for the Nobel Prize Concert a few years ago. Marit's last two albums made the German charts.
