Even if these old Girls are 50+ Yrs old there will still be many many many on the road/service & many in the Military Scrap yards that will be there until the "Apocalypse" happens. Which it probably But then again we can't predict the future. When the "Electronic" age dies & The revolutionary "Mechanical" Age comes back to life & The Mighty *Roar* of the Deuce will put fear into the Bandits eye's... lol
My sister had the same jetta , same color too. Those are probably the toughest engines ever made. That thing would run with 0 oil in the pan repeatedly and for God knows how many miles
Throw in copious amounts of Bud Light and this looks like an average weekend at my brother's house (including doing dumb things with a deuce and a half and sketchy tractor hookups).
I have an m35 duse and a half and we are going a cross state in ar millinery transport bus to pick up tires 5 inches bigger the bus we have been made with all wood and we go camping soon after tires I always wonderd what it could crush our m35 is 17 tones
I thought I was gonna enjoy watching this but... dude you managed to damage a perfectly working deuce pulling this silly little stunt! And you gave VW free publicity! Now I wonder if either of these formed part of your initial intentions.
I have done dumb stuff too. What man worth his salt hasn't? Clearance was just not quite enough and tires were too narrow and hard and caved in the roof too far. I hate that it damaged that pearl of a truck. Don't that engine sound good?
I had a M35A2,it was solid as hell but the LDT-465 is not a great engine if torque and mileage is what you are intending for.I put 55,000 miles on mine before I just had to rebuild it.It was the same flaws with the LDS-465 & LT-465 and even worse with the LDT-427 that the M35A1 had.
@@hummerguy First it was the head gaskets before the air cooler, then after that it was the fuel injectors and the turbocharger almost causing my truck to go into runaway when it had oil leaking from the blades. There was much to it but one of the last things I did before rebuilding the jalopy was tearing into the engine because I had to do valve lash adjustment.I guess some other owners are more lucky then others.
Make the Deuce handicapped accessible, w/controls for a handicapped Vet.. Brings a whole to meaning to " handicapped parking only ".. Sorry about the Saab. Not sorry about the VW.. Ever step on an aluminum can and have it get stuck to your foot ?
I mean thats not terribly shocking it is a 2.5 ton truck not a 70 ton M1A2 Abrams. Crush a car with something in the MBT weight rating, a D10 or D11 will suffice, if it starts after that...then you have a shock factor. This is no more impressive than a car starting after a moderately bad accident, I mean im not saying it is a certainty it would but it is also not terribly surprising.
Wow that's a waste of 2 good cars especially the white one it's better than my car is that's rich people with too much time on their hands yeah I can see doing that with a couple of junk cars but them were not junk cars but they are now what a waste man
Their money, not yours. Their property, not yours. What is junk is very VERY subjective. I call Saab junk because I think they're overpriced ugly on wheels. I call Volvo junk for the same reason, even being fully aware they last forever. BMW, Mercades, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche I also considered overpriced junk because they are, but vast hordes of people would disagree and argue with me like I just slapped their child over that opinion.
