I'm thinking about getting one of these and hanging out at the local mudding areas and charging $40 to pull anyone out. It would be a good business since someone gets stuck every ten minutes and no tow trucks go out there for less than a few hundred.
the winch that is found most often on the deuce is rated for 10,000lbs which is 3,500lbs less than the actual weight of the truck. take into consideration that the mud/sand/water is creating a vacuum, you are looking at approximately 6,00lbs more than the winch can handle.
2 part the line to double the pull, even so, the winch can pull a lot more than a truck spinning on mud can pull, they're called 'recovery winches' for a reason
the goal of having his wheels spinning is once he gets yanked he will hopefully find a little traction and be able to get out easier than putting all the work on the pulling vehicle
Ya it was all a show cause the winch pulled it out but whats fun of that lol im sure thats next step after they did not have b azz deep in water still sux did not finish pullin out !
It's a kenetic tow strap. They will stretch about 30%, and helps pop the stuck truck free. If you want one, a 60k pound capacity strap, 1 1/2 inches diameter, will run you about $175US.
if the other bloke in his M34a2 stop driving his wheels the other one be getting him out easy and quicker but no he keeps driving and digging down in the sand in the water
If the meathaed driving the the stuck truck would figure out he is the problem . They would have been out in 5 or 6 tugs. He keeps digging himself deeper in .
I agree I have a deuce as well use it for cattle feeding fire fighting etc people look at them and think oh it is military it can go anywhere!!!!! no it is a 15000# truck that can handle heavy loads "off road" i.e rough hard ground other than that you need to chain them up for snow and some mud driving across deep water even if it has a gravel bottom will simply dig holes in the gravel and then you are stuck. Mine has a 26000# winch which I have used to retrive a backhoe (stuck in 12 inches of mud) and a 20,000# tractor ( stuck in a snow drift) they are a beautiful machine that literally is a life saver I hate it when these meatheads abuse them just to screw around.
@@bodhixxx1 oh ive seen fire truck m35s get stuck in wet grass/loose soil lol, honestly its more about knowing the terrain, if you know its soft dirt dont even drive into it unless necessary. theyre good trucks i love mine. if you want traction you need weight, double edged knife though. too much weight and no flotation and you got a stuck truck.
