The basic M35 cargo truck is rated to carry 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) off-road or 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg) on roads. Trucks in this weight class are considered medium duty by the military and the Department of Transportation M35A3 an M35A2.

Little secret, if you can go through it with a 2.5 ton, I can get through it with a M60A1, I pulled our fuel truck out to the road as he was sunk to the axles in the German mud, 1976. The M520 Goer and the M561 Gama Goat were the champs in the mud followed by the M113. You want to play in mud just follow16 tanks back the their muddy field to park, for a week. Shit was knee deep.

I’d love to see one with a Cat 3406 or Cummins big cam 400 instead of a 150 hp multi fuel, how about a 500 hp diesel. Even an old two stroke Detroit like an 8V92 TA
