My M1 (not Pro or Max) 13in. MacBook Pro from 2020 is still holding incredibly strong, honestly probably never going to NEED to buy a new laptop considering it’s held strong through my Senior year of high school, my entire undergrad degree, and will most likely keep pushing even throughout grad school which is another 4 to 5 years from now
Shoot, I have an M1 Air with 16gb of ram and 1tb of storage and I make a lot of music and play Roblox. I don’t need another laptop for another 5+ years, unless I can no longer tolerate the large bezels lol.
Ain't nothing wrong with that! (except for failing GPU's - like mine! Hope I didn't jinx yours now!😅) I want to let you know though, a stock M1 Air (yes M1) will absolutely smoke that machine once you eventually upgrade. I still have mine around though for opening old recording sessions where I need specific plugins that were phased out.
@@justcallme_tomFor me, I like to have lots of storage for my movies and tv shows I’ve purchased to be downloaded on my device which takes up quite a bit of space, so I would love a 2tb iPhone
My 13“ MacBook Pro M1 16GB/1TB remains strong, M4 looks tempting but if i‘m upgrading already, I will get at least 32GB to make the upgrade worthy. Thinking about waiting for the M5 Pro with OLED.
I like having usb A port in the mac of mac mini, I have some old drives and stuff that need usb A ans I don't use them often and having those 2 ports on the mac mini was nice for those 3 times in a year when I need it
I think iPad 11 will be left out from AI at all to upsell consumers to Mini or Air, but if Apple is to be so kind they might put binned 4-core GPU version of A17 Pro and call it as "A17 Bionic" or maybe just put special version of A16 where it has 8GB RAM
The 2nd generation iPad still does everything I need or want, that is why most people don't buy iPads based on the chip it has. Apple Intelligence will likely drive that upgrade market.
So when will a new HomePod come out as it cant support apple AI, but i personally think apple will bring out an apple version of the amazon echo show, hence why no HomePod updates.
