It's very common for the MKIII Supra dome light to stop working, this is a result of rivets losing their contact inside the dome light housings. I installed the new lights. They worked for a second but stoppped, ended up burning a fuse. Replaced the fuse and burned it again. What next?

$38 is a lot for a punch and an LED that you can order from Wish for $2. The ones from Wish also come with different connection's for different fittings so you can put them in other parts of your car.

Well you know these are the right ones that will fit, and you get the correct punch, and youll get customer service and it wont take 8 years for it to arrive in the mail lol.

Maybe try a heat gun to soften it up, but it should pop off its just tight

Nice upgrade, did a similar mod in my vehicle, some felt that it blinds you in the night, especially looking through the rear view mirror. A little dimmer dome light is a better compromise for me

My dome lights work, but they dim down (only for a split second) whenever I use my window switch or make my headlights pop up. Maybe electrical issue? If I keep my window switch pressed they stay dim. Any ideas??

the lights use a LOT of power. so the windows take up the power as well, so the power from the lights go to the window

I hope you know that led panel will start burning those 5050 LEDs because of high voltage. You need voltage buck converter to set it from car voltage to 11.5v ...

@@PoorManMods so i tried punching the rivets again and they finally worked. I guess i didnt hit them hard enough the first time lol. Both originally bulbs light up just fine so ima wait for them to burn out and install the led's later

*FYI:* The kit is about $40; pretty decent considering the amount of light emitted....and that you might not be able to find this any place else.

My Dome-light is already working (considering I installed a complete used one); so do I still need to use the punch to gain proper contact?

I would use the punch just to be sure, my dome light worked up until last year, Ron and I used the punched and it start working again. The contact can be lost at any time, just do it now and be done with it.
