That's kinda why I did the look I'm wearing for the talking portions... Flora Story has way better versions of these colors but it's a whole palette for $33.90 🤣
I bought one of the sparklers because of previous reviews of past years' sparklers. lol The way I get it to work is by wetting my brush but yeah, it's a bummer. You made a beautiful look though despite the problems. 💕
I always love your MAC holiday reviews. I think you would enjoy the Connect in Color eyeshadow formula. The color stories aren’t revolutionary, the shimmers are more of a satiny formula, but they are super pigmented and blend beautifully.
I could see people liking the white shadow as a sheer gleam all over the lid with a light or no contour in the crease (a soft cold girl eye), but that green baffles me too.

This one is very pretty though, I would buy the lipstick sets because there's something magical about MAC lipstick. I bought the LusterGlass set and I am really enjoying it. The packaging is stunning and the LusterGlass lipsticks feel great and it is a good variety of colors. They do not last long, but that is to be expected from this formula...
Id love to see you instead of buying mac collection stuff next holiday, creating your own “collection” from your stash that would be the MJFF Holiday Collection!! And you could feature the products in future wintery videos
I thought 'wow those shadows look like Flora Story and I love that palette' and then realised that was what you were wearing, lol. Very literally 'lacklustre' shadows. I loooove Lustre Glass formula though and hope to get them on sale. Merry Christmas everyone! Better late than never Amanda! I actually refrained from buying this collection due to the ho-hum, yet somehow amazingly expensive, collection from last year. And you don’t have unrealistic expectations for the shadows. $25 for a single shadow and $42 for a highlighter should make you feel something other than disappointment.
Third comment: I ordered the Flora Story palette with some Christmas money I just received. Went back on UT to watch several creators use it and I just had to pull the trigger. Merry Christmas and a Big Thank You for 2023 (earlier years also).
Kelly Gooch mentioned that she thinks Urban Decay should expand on their Moondust line like they have with other popular products they've made. A lip balm like the one in this video is what immediately came to mind for me for that.
I need to have my ears cleaned😂😂 I loved the eye look when your video started and wondered through the whole vid thinking "oh! at least she got the MAC green mess to work out only to realize you were wearing the colors from Flora Story!!! Duh!!! Honestly, if I were you, I'd return a few of those MAC items.
10/10 would have make-up party with you if we were friends. I'm slightly annoyed MAC does not count as cruelty free because some of those Frostbitten lipsticks look super cute and I love the sparkly balm..

I got the lip set and the gold ( Taste For Bubbles ) balm. I am very happy with both and the balm doesn't turn neutral on me rather than pink. Book - She Rides Shotgun by Jordan Harper. Love your reviews ❤
I bought the mini Powder Kiss set, and I ended up giving every single bullet to my mom. For the life of me, I couldn't get any of the lipstick ks to stay for more than 30 minutes, which I can't say for the full sized which have a longer lasting formula. Nevertheless, if you want THE best, buttery smooth-zipper pouch for your makeup brushes for $90, there you go
all this stuff is just kinda spendy for me i think but that shiver shimmy lip balm looks realy fun. just something different. the rest of it is just not different fromwhat i have enough to make me want to buy it. thanks for the review.
I agree that this collection is such a letdown. I got the primer (pretty good) & the highlighter (only for the packaging). I now have 4 of their highlighters that are basically identical. Anyone else sick of the glittery extra dimension highlighters? Why can't they just come up with some new shades in the smooth wet looking extra dimension formula? Enough with the glitter already! Anyway, great review. Thanks
Last year I got the mistlebow single and I'm really disappointed in it too. Like, I had a green from wet n wild that did a better job than the mac one does
I actually really like that green shadow, I'm into more subtle shimmers these days. That said, $25 is way too much for a single shadow when you can get something for 5x less from Sydney Grace. Idk how they can get away with that price point.
@@helsconceit Well I hated the way they performed in application so much that I was not gonna wear them all day. Even if they lasted 48 hours, these shadows still wouldn't be worth $25 each in my opinion unless they also walked my dog and helped me file my taxes 🤣🤣🤣

This year (and possibly last year, too?)I totally skipped out on getting any MAC holiday stuff. Their quality has just been going downhill rapidly these past few years. Also, now they no longer seem to be doing anymore LE collections or collabs, either. Estee Lauder, the brand killer, must be trying to quietly destroy MAC Cosmetics.
Take it Back, Terra Moon Shadows Are Waaaaay better than that and other indy brands, holiday Set cost a lot but not the brand same Quality, i never buy holiday sets, or gift sets, they focus more on packaging than the products🤷♀

Im so sorry but am I the only one that thinks of used tampons when it comes to those lipsticks? 🫢🫣 also, the silver compact for the highlighter is the same thing as the patrick star collection (only difference is, that one was red).. they kinda recycled a lot of ideas i guess?
