Your eyes look is stunning. I'd love a deeper dive into the new ELF palettes. I have all of the bite sized ones and love them. I need someone like you to guide me with choosing colors within a palette to get its full use.
I have the pink laneige lip balm and the purple elf one. I actually prefer the elf. For me personally, the laniege lip balm feels more like makeup. I put it on for the glow. The elf one feels more nourishing on my lips and more like an actual balm. Love it!
I really love the color story of that pastel palette, but I have never had any luck with ELF eyeshadows. They feel and perform like lightly tinted corn starch on my lids. If you ever wanted to do a "build your own palette" version with pastel singles from your collection, that would be really cool.
I agree, definitely not a dupe of laneige, but still a good product and insanely priced at $4! I think the colourpop lip masks are closer as an affordable option. Elf has really nice lip glosses, lacquers and plumping glosses.
I’d love to see the Perfect 10 palettes compared to the Bite Sized palettes. The selling point of these was that they contain the same formula as their Bite Sized palettes, so swatch comparisons and any dupes within the line would be super helpful and interesting. Would also love to see the pastel palette in action! I’d also be curious to see if you reordered the Summer Breeze palette and got the new packaging to see if there’s a difference, because it is supposed to be an upgraded formula. ❤ Also, for me, Elf doesn’t just provide affordable alternatives; they also provide fully cruelty-free and vegan alternatives! That is such a big deal!
That Intergalactic palette is gorgeous! I don't know if the have updated the Rose Gold Nude palette, but as pale cool toned girl, it's a great neutral palette for me. I do agree that the shimmers are better than the mattes. I can get nice soft looks oit of it, which tend to look better on me than bold looks. You are amazing too! 💜
I've only used the Laneige in the pots and don't think I'd like them in a tube so, for the price, I'll try the ELF tubes. Also, I like a heavier formula especially for overnight. ELF tubes it is!!!
I find the laneige in pot a little different than the tube product. I don't remember exactly why, maybe not as moisturizing.. but I do know I liked the pot better.
I totally agree. I bought a set of 3 Laneige pots in different flavors.and each one had a different texture. I don't think I'd like to risk the tubes price wise. If I wanted a tube, I'd try ELF just for fun.
funnily enough i also picked up a lip laquer in my recent order (i wanted to try the new lip balms too lol) the shade i got is black cherry and it's GORGEOUS! pleasantly surprised by the formula!
Your eye look is so pretty. The palette you used to create it (intergalactic) looks a lot more appealing to me now than when i just saw it in the container. I am very picky about texture of lip products in that kind of tube dispenser. Even when I like the product consistency, shade and scent, that kind of application tube tends to ruin it for me. I've never purchased laneige lip treatment with tube, only the pot. And I don't take those around with me. Honey dew elf lip glow looks so pretty but I probably won't get it unless as a points gift.
Hallo, that one elf palette is beautiful, not related to elf but one of my favorite lip balm ( is in a tub) but the two are so similar one is Tarte sugar rush best bud lip butter balm I. Peony , I am my 4th one. The other is Patrick Ta lip balm in a tub she's juicy. Both are so nice and a must on my lips at bed time.
I was hoping to see the silver eyeshadow shade of the intergalactic palette be used but the other shimmer shades seemed to provide enough payoff. I just needed a sign to make a purchase for it. So I think I’ll go ahead with getting it. 👏🏾✨😁
I picked up the vanilla frosting lip balm and disliked it because mine had granules in the formula. A few people I spoke to about this said I must have received a dud, but it was an early batch I picked up from Ulta. I didn’t expect it to come like that… Even if it cost less than six dollars, I disliked it so much that I’m not picking up another one to try. Something like that should be consistent. The lip scrub was nice, but I preferred the old version since the sugar wasn’t as course.
