I'm good with everything Mac has brought to. Circles was a perfect ending to his discography and I'd hate it if his label would start releasing a lot of half-assed music he was in the process of doing and call it an album.
This is literally the last track that we’ll see on any Mac Miller album built for release and it shows where Mac was musically. It’s so far ahead of anyone or anything. It’s beautiful. He was on the cusp of being worldwide stardom. This beautiful piece of somewhat a perfect ending to the situation. And I’ll be forever sad knowing I’ll never hear a new song / album. RIP Mac. Thanks for everything man.
Now this is the true ending of circles. I always wondered why “Once A Day” sounded so much like a cliffhanger, but this song closes the album on a good note. I’m sure you’re happy up there Mac, wherever you are. Rest easy
Once a Day is my favorite song on Circles but I think the last song shouldve been good news cuz then we we would've known right away we were gonna get circles
Once a Day was a sad ending, leaves you expecting more. So I guess in terms of macs death it was accurate, but seeing as the album was a positive one it should have ended on a positive note, not a melancholy one, so i think that one dude whose name i forgot to handled the album should have put good news at the end
The Album was 95% done when he passed, Circles was a continuation of Swimming, and Once a Day is a genuine cliff hanger...Because it was supposed to be a 3 part album, unfortunately the 3rd album will never be...
This felt like a goodbye, like Mac finally left us, he gave us everything that he had, thank you for that, Malcolm Thank you for speaking with millions through your happiness and depression. Rest in Peace, old friend.

Swimming in circles was supposed to be a trilogy... circles being song based, swimming a mix of song and rap and the third one he was supposed to do a pure hip hop album as saying "I still do this, I still love this..."

My ex commited suicide in May this year. Think she finally got away. Mac was one of her most favourite artist. I hope she meet mac and her other fav people up in heaven. rest in peace love.

I don't think he had any hate in his heart. If he did it was probably towards himself. He transformed from a frat rapper to an amazing artist who produced a lot of his own work and dabbled in many different styles as well as singing. A lot of his newer stuff is very introspective and kinda gave us an inside look of what he was dealing with and how he was growing as an individual, he has exposing himself and being brutally honest, but you could tell he was getting better which is the saddest part to me. R.I.P. Mac fr. 💯

it's also because mac evolved. From a stoner rapper to almost a jazzy rapper. He's really an artist. And I think fans that were there from the start also went through that growth. Also the people that just started listening heard those 2 master pieces. Swimming and Circles. Who wouldn't love those. You literally can't hate on this guy. Much love from The Netherlands! This album is the perfect note to leave on. I can only wish that one day I will be able to leave something behind as beautiful as this. RIP mac its finally over, you accomplished making one of the greatest albums of all time and preserving your legacy for generations to come. this album really showed me that death isn't sad its an inevitability. So while you're alive you should dedicate your life to what really matters to you.
Swimming in Circles. The first time I heard that, I got emotional because that was another cry for help. When one swims in circles, they do the same way/path/route over and over. They're stuck in a way. He put so many messages into the albums Swimming and Circles. I miss him. I miss him alot. But he isn't really gone. I don't believe in death. Everytime i listen to Malcolm i feel sad and happy at the same time. My bestfriend wanted me to liste to his music and i would always tell her ill listen but i dont. Now that she passed away I do nothing but listen to Mac Miller and he keeps me Above waters like she did for me when she was alive. She was only 23 , we would keep eachother balanced and unconditionally love eachother. Thank you Mac Miller for being there for her when she was going through tough time and now you are here for me thanks to her. Much love to everyone that is here and going through pain and feel so much better thanks to these Gems.
I feel the same. A good friend of mine killed himself & I always wonder what he was feeling during his last day with us...i feel like it was a lot of the melancholy that is so often exuding from Mac songs. Idk man, I just feel more of a connection to my friend when I listen to Mac Miller; he touches those unnamed, unfamiliar feelings so often.
My best friend died 8 days before his 23rd birthday. I still miss him so much it hurts. And he’s the one who introduced me to Mac. I feel every ounce of your pain so hard. It never gets easier either. Just stay strong for the people who would feel this way if you were gone.
Mac knew he was gonna die. He wrote this album to be released post-mortem for us to deal with the grief. I thought it was weird when I first noticed him carving "Momento Mori" in the coffin of the "Self-Care" video. Now I just think it's the most tragically brilliant and inspired album release in all of hip-hop history....Right?....... You made it, Mac.

Ever since his death, I have been in such denial of it and not wanting to accept it, though knowing he’s not here with us anymore. It hurts me so much to know he’s not here with us anymore. I miss him so much. I'm glad that his family didn't do what other posthumous albums did. Taking rough drafts and making them songs without the artist's permission. But here, it feels like Mac wanted this album to be released. It's genuine and beautiful. RIP Mac Miller ❤️

I've always prided myself for listening too and finding those Musical Expeditionairies who present themselves to a human who seeks those that can't be anything but a vessel of Purity and Truth in what it is that they MUST do. Mac Miller will always always be played with absolute respect and complete humility on my Life Plane! I just lost my brother to suicide last week. Days before, I came very close to taking my own life as well, coming as close as tying the noose and staring at it.. had a nervous meltdown, was too scared to go.. In my 25 years of living I've lost every single member of the family who raised me, besides one person, my cousin. It was so close to being both my brother and I, and my cousin being only one person left in the whole maternal side of my family.. I can't fathom what that would have done to her. The pain of losing my brother, essentially burying what's left of my moms side of the family, it hurts bad. I can say with certainty, though.. I am grateful that I am alive to be feeling that pain.. I am grateful that I got to reunite with my brother after a 19 year separation before he passed.. and I got to take mushrooms with him.. I will never forget that. Hearing my cousin say "please don't leave me, too" when I gave her the news.. it sent me fuckin reeling. No, man. I don't want to leave. Not anymore.
