Welcome back to What’s For Tea :) and today I made these wonderful macaroni cheese pies :) They are very popular in Scotland and found in most bakeries and cafes! Very easy to make too….and delicious :)

What I used in the video (makes 4 pies) I used four, 10cm x 4cm spring form tins
Similar tins to the ones I used- www.amazon.co.uk/Jamie-Oliver...
For the pastry-
250g (2 cups) Plain/all purpose flour
125ml (1/2 cup) Water
100g (1/2 cup) Lard
Pinch of salt
For the macaroni cheese filling-
250g (2 cups) Macaroni
200g (2+1/2 cups) Grated mature/sharp cheddar cheese
300ml (1 cup) Milk
200ml (0.8 cup) Single cream
3 Tablespoons flour
2 Teaspoons mustard - optional
55g (1/4 cup) Butter
