Howzit That will always happen when casting out nylon and then when it gets to the braid, it back lashes. It's coz of the braid being a bit catchy and also because it is tightly spooled and the line lay is too fine, meaning it's not reeled across the spool if you understand what I mean... You will notice that if the braid gets wet then it won't do that as much... I would suggest, have enough nylon as your topshot so that you don't cast it all out. The braid shall remain as backing as what it really should be there for in a case you hook a fish that will take some propper line... I would suggest 200m topshot and the rest should be your backing to fill up the spool, and thereafter you should be good to go... Enjoy... 🎣

The only way to solve that problem is to buy another another coffee grinder and a rod to suit.
