Anyone with this issue. Hold down the power button for 5 seconds. Plug in the adapter while still holding down the power button, hold for another 5 seconds and it will boot.
Omg I tried this and it works, thank you so much, my gosh my MacBook pro won't open up for months now and tried to fixed it again today and I saw this comment, it didn't work at 1st but on my 3rd try, it works huhu thank you so much
@@krishiyadav5659 it's something to do with a failure on the motherboard. You should prepare for issues of that sort some months down the road or it not booting at all. But when issue is still new this solution always works. 👍🏼
Thank youuuuuuuuu, my computer was with a " tech guy" for a month, he told me to buy new logic board, i did, but still didnt work, i just saw your video, and you suggest to change RAM memory, i remeber i had one extra pair, i changed and it works, thanks youuuu again bro. Any one with this issue, just change your RAM.
got the same issue but the fan doesn’t work either just indicating light keep trying to boot up and after 4 sec the indicating light looks like it turn off and automatically start to boot up again but no hope.I’ve done everything but no hope
If fan isn’t working then it needs replacement. Also possible cause is bad memory(ram). Trying removing one of them and turn on mac and vice Versa. Still if it doesn’t work the you need to visit apple service.
In that case I m afraid to say it could either problem with both or any of the ram or issue with the logic board. You can try removing one ram and turn on mac and vice versa. If it didn’t work then logic board is corrupt. Don’t try to replace logic board as it’s too expensive and better to get a new mac. Your data is safe, third party vendor and remove hard disk and recover your data
I have a mid-2009 MacBook Pro that I've recently done a couple of upgrades on. When I turn the power on now the power light comes on clicks off and then comes back on again and stays on. The fans are working so there's power getting to the machine both with the charger attached and without the charger attached. That's all it does though the screen remains black and I can't hear anything that would tell me that it's booting up. Removing and reattaching the battery did not help. I've checked the LVDS cable that I detached to replace the Wi-Fi card and those two connectors look like they are properly re-seated but I'm not certain of this. I believe the new 2x4GB RAM cards are in the slots properly. None of the keyboard reboot alternatives (eg NVRAM) has any impact. I have no idea what's going on. How would I begin to diagnose this problem?
@@agentsan23 Thanks for your reply. I did as you said and even tried the old 2 GB of RAM in each slot but nothing worked. I should've also said that the backlighting on the keyboard doesn't work even though the fans do.
I have same problem on same 2009 pro machine. First it used to start with long press powerbutton but now it wont just start. Chked the ram but not its issue. Out of 20 times I try, sometimes it start 1 or 2 times. What do I do?
Ideally it’s not required to remove battery. According to instruction from apple(link below) for removing and installing Ram. I presume the same applies for hard disk. However there is no harm in disconnecting battery before removing other component support.apple.com/en-in/HT201165
I have similar laptop, when press power button fan starts and stopping after few seconds. Then white sleep lights flashes. Same thing happens when I press power on button again. Please advise.
Took out the new wifi card and reinstalled the old one. Now it starts, stops and then starts again (doesn't go to sleep like before). Fans much louder now as it runs but still won't boot up. Do you still think this is a logic board issue?
Yes and I suspect the memory slot could have gone bad. Only few third party repair shops replace the memory slot. I would suggest go for a new MacBook as your MacBook model is too old and getting logic board is difficult and even if you managed to get it will be expensive. Don’t worry about data as there are some adaptor available to use your old MacBook internal disk to be used as external hard disk
@@सफल-aryal No, but I have found why... I think.. If you look at the PC from the screen side. In the keyboards at the left, some wires must be misconnected. If you press softly then it will connect and I can use it for a few while.
Have to tried it connecting to power source. If fans run while connected to power then faulty battery. Even with power source connected and fans doesn’t work then Logic board may be corrupt. You may have to get it replaced
