Disculpa tengo una consulta, con qué haces la comunicación desde la laptop al Mach3? Mi laptop no tiene entrada para puerto paralelo, o tú usas el UC-100 (USB to Parallel Adapter)?
Hi Roger, thanks for this information! I am running Mach3 on an older PC winXP which sadly is not booting up... It's been a while, but was wanting to run my mill on my newer PC win10 64 bit. I was using C11G BOB/parrallel port on the old PC ..what would you recommend as an updated motion controller? I read that small USB red board you use in another vid is not win10 compatible? Hoping not to have to redo too much, I have also read about the UC100 but don't think that works with 64 bit...thanks in advance!
Hello sir, Please consider making a video about manual jogging for creating corresponding Gcodes. It will help in making mortis and tenon type custom wood working jobs.
Just bought chinese 6040 with a usb connection, so am i right in assuming i jyst need to buy a mach 3 licence and download and install as per your video on my windows 10 pc without the need for any different / more modern controller? Great video by the way
So the cnc arrived, i tried to download mach 3 from newfangled onto my mini pc running windows 10, downloaded and installed fine then i got an error message saying i needed to repair the c drive, i followed the prompts znd subsequently got the blue bricked screen, nothing i seem to do sorts it out. Ive now ordered an older pc with xp professional installed
I loaded a gcode into mach3 and all it wants to do is draw a big circle. I tried mach3 & mach3 plasma processing in sheet cam. Any idea what is wrong? The part is correct in the tool path yet it won't follow the path.😢
I can not get the mach3 driver to install no matter what I do. Mach3.sys is the driver? I read it was. I have tried everything and no luck getting mach3 working.
@user-tn1hk6zm2f ah yes, Laptops can be a real pain, if you only have a serial port it's not going to work, often you won't have a fully capable parallel port on a laptop, better to go with a desktop typically, got the spec out model of your Laptop?
@@wayneshephard I have 3 laptops. Have a Lenovo ideopad 3. Have 2 Toshibas one is a satellite L755D other one is a Toshiba Portege R835-P50 running Linux.
@user-tn1hk6zm2f best thing you can do is research each model via Google or with your multimeter, you'll need to grab a parallel cable and schematic, then use Mach3 to enable our initiate motion and check the output pins of the parallel port cable for 5 volts, if it's 2-3 it's not going to work
