# Bong Eats
No dude.... I think you are a novice who is watching this .. Every pro cook tells you the correct amount of everything thing.. And salt depends upon spices, sugar and your own taste...
Tried the recipe. It was amazing. If there is someone here wondering about how raisins in the curry would taste, like me, you could skip them. Even then, it tasted great. Thanks for the wonderful recipe guys.
This is what my husband calls... BIYEBARI MACHH and he loves it more than anything in the world! But your videos are so much more than just food. They are like a ray of hope. It feels like no matter what it will be something amazing at the end and in times like these this is something we all need. That is the reason I come back to your videos again and again. Thank you for creating something so beautiful.
Seems like I could smell that fish when it was getting fried. It’s 3 years I didn’t get to eat good fish. Missing home 😒. Dekhe mon, pran shob juriye gelo!!!
I have been cooking a lot of your recipes during the lockdown. People at home really appreciate it. Would like to thank you for such amazing recipes and detailed instructions. You made our lockdown better by helping me make good food :)
For me that sweet Bengali song along with the sounds of the fish frying is almost too much and makes me yearn for back home. Grew up first 9 years outside Calcutta.
Such a beautiful recipe!! Do easy n vrryyyyyy tasty... Being a Punjabi in Bengali family... Ur recipes gives mi soooo much of credits.......thanks a lot
I made a huge mistake watching this video at 1:00 in the morning when I should be sleeping and now this fish curry made me so hungry. Damn i can actually visualise the taste of this curry😋
In love with this channel ❤️ বার বার মনে হয়ে নবমীর দুপুরে উত্তর কলকাতার কোন এক বনিদি বাড়িতে অনেক অতিথি এসেছে এবং আমি সেই খোলা বারান্দায় বসে ঢাকার আওয়াজ শুনছি আর গল্প করছি ভাই বোন দের সাথে ,নাকে আসছিল হালকা ধুনোর সাথে মিশে যাওয়া মা এর বানানো কাতলা মাছের কালিয়া। 3:55
Kokhon theke wait korchhilam ajker video tar jonyo....thanks for uploading this video as pomfret, bhetki and katla are the only fish that I consume....biye barir moton holo
। Thanks for this beautiful authentic Bengali dish 😍😍😍😍😍
Being a professional Chef for 20 years, not a Bengali, but a big fan of Bengali cuisine, music and culture. I think this is one of the best vlog i have come across. Kudos to the people behind this channel. Wish I can know them and contribute. As far as the measurement part goes, invest in a good kitchen scale and a good recipe book, its worth it. Professionally it is recommended to record the recipes only in grams or Kgs, as conversion is easy and it is more consistent.
Your recipes and presentation are so aesthetically intriguing...it practically brings out the desire of cooking in everyone, including those who always stayed away from cooking... much love...aro onek onek recipes shikhte chai...❤
Excellent.. will try this kalia with tomato .. we need to cook modern kalia with tomato as a departure from old tradition . While sticking to old traditional dishes we must explore new ways and u are a pioneer
Being a North Indian looking for bong fish recipe loved the presentation of video in all senses be it background music sound of utensils focus of camera n non sense... amazing effort n successful one.🎉🎉
Thanks for this perfect machher kaliya recipe.. I even requested you earlier for this recipe once.. I prepare machher kaliya with a little posto and without the fried onion.. The rest is quite same. Thank you. I will Definitely try this one.
I made this last week and the gravy was oh so delish. I think this gravy can also be used for a good chicken curry. Thank you Bong Eats. I'm a die hard fan of Bengali cuisine.
Bong eats is my favourite. I have tried almost all recipes shared. I just want to know that during our childhood in Biye Bari the fish curry used to have a very subtle flavour of green chillies, and it's been lingering since then arousing the olfactory senses. Can you help as to how we can get that flavour while cooking fish.
Hello! i love you for frying the fish before putting it in the curry! This is the ultimate combination i have always wanted. I'm gonna experiment this recipe with chicken today. Thanks for making this happen. Thumbs up!
Let us know how it went with chicken yash sharma! I'm planning to do this but with a different kind of fish cause where I live (Malaysia) Malaysian Indians don't cook with fresh water fish, fish is from the sea.
When you're chopping straight ... Make sure your longest finger is on the top of onion/ginger whatever and keep shifting it backwards. This way you won't get cut ... Will be smooth and accurate. Let that finger take the lead.
Today I'm going to try dis receipe..pls clear my doubt..dis is first time I saw adding drygrapes in fish curry..does it taste good in dis recipe?? Pls reply
Perhaps the best food chanal...enjoy every bit of your cooking style.. and u guys have made me a complete cook now🙂. Keep up the good work. Best wishes..
Bhai very recently I found your channel and since then every Sunday your channel is from where I try my hands on cooking and inching towards becoming a master chef 😃. The recipes are just perfect and the বাঙালি flavour is just mesmerizing, specially sitting in some non বাঙালি land. Keep doing the great work. Btw, we were classmates in 11 - 12 😁
