I especially liked the step by step pictures interspersed with examples from finished quilts. I always like your eye candy videos, they give me lots of ideas. Sometimes I rewatch your videos for encouragement, sometimes for ideas, sometimes for company while I work.
When it comes to FMQ you are simply the best! I was able with help from your books, your website, your videos, your pdf's and most of all from all your positive energy to finish my second quilt with feathers, pebbles, ruler work, squirrels, dot to dot and many more ... and no... it is not perfect but it's DONE :-) And now this: painting with thread landscapes! How cute is this??? I will definitely give it a try! Thank you so much for all your support! I am a big fan stationed in Berlin, Germany.
It’s such a creative process. I appreciate your style & techniques in teaching and your beautifully detailed work. Really have learned so much from you, Angela. Great visuals & demonstration I can keep up with and enjoy.💜
So cool! Well, I had a busy but fun day putting another log on my Log Cabin quilt blocks. This video makes me so happy that I can now sit and watch your video. Thank you for your time and posting this video!
Just love you and your presentation style. Never slow or boring or condescending I just happened to pick up one of your books before i found your youtube. I will learn so much from you.. I agree, quilting is more fun than piecing
I was going to research cloud designs when this popped upon my youtube watch list. Awesome!!! Love these techniques! I will be using them very soon on my next quilt (lighthouses)
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! A few years back I started a sample QAYG quilt. Life got in the way but I’m ready to get back in the quilting groove!!! 💕🤗💕
This was such perfect timing! I just tried to do a sky last night and after seeing a few of your suggestions, I now can improve it. I wasn’t totally satisfied with my first try, so I’ve got some new tools thanks to you and I’m going back! Thanks so much!
Angela do you have Quilting Diagrams & Tip Sheet for this episode? I try to doodle draw and I forget which direction to run to. Yes, learning in progress. Thank you for sharing your play time!
you are amazing and such a great teacher. can this type of quilting be done on a sewing machine free motion style? the panels are fabulous and would look great hanging on the wall or on my easy chair.
I mounted my quilt with 10" panels sideways...want to quilt sky like this, but not sure if I can do it in a vertical rather than horizontal direction. Suggestions?
