These machines can paint road markings in seconds. They're made by STiM in Belarus. The paint it made up of thermoplastics. It also uses reflective glass beads to make the lines last longer, and be more visible. Some of their vehicles can even be used driverless.
The machines come in various sizes, enabling them to perform different tasks such as highway painting and inner-city painting.

I wish they explained how it knows when to stop and release the paint as well as how its programed to go in a perfect line. I drove from texas to florida and was watching the lines on the roads and thought "How long does it take to do this?"

They actually aren't "programmed" to go straight per say. I actually do this for a living and the straightness of the line still falls on the guy driving the truck and the person on the back that is controlling the paint guns!

what they dont Show: the machine has a built in Computer that is programmable,it also requires pre marking and a driver

In the US, magnetic collars are added to the driveshaft with a pickup sensor. The skip timing system is calibrated typically on a 1,000 course. This allows the skip timer to know the distance travelled. The skip timer can then be programmed to paint a predetermined length and leave a predetermined gap; called a cycle. On US interstates and highways this typically set at a 10' painted skip and 30' gap; hence a 40' cycle.

We use it on parking lots, on asphalt footbal field and many more, not only for road so dont comment somthing you know nothing about

Saw one in use, looked cool 😲 got near road a few days later saw a flatten aluminum can that had been paint over 😆 I removed the can but it left the can shape on the floor

I came here to learn how lines were pained so accurately. I have learned nothing. I see these trucks out there with lazers, and guys hanging off the sides. I'm guessing that the driver uses the lazer to get him close to the original line, and then there is a sensor that finds the old line, and adjusts the guns to cover the old line.

We use kontur 600 daily, 1500kg paint per day really reliable maschine, only one to two minor bugs per year but regularly serviced
