Man, I freaked out watching you grab the CRT cup with your left hand while poking with the screwdriver in your right hand. *Never* have both hands in that area, *ever!* A shock will cross your upper body through your heart, and you could very well end up dead. Otherwise, you do a really nice job here and I look forward to more videos from you!!!
I actually always discharge the CRT with one hand (check out other videos). I know how electricity will take the shortest route (your heart) if you get shocked with both hands in the machine. It might not look like it but check out that clip again. I discharged the CRT for a good 10 seconds (to make sure it’s fully discharged) before even touching the anode cap. Remember that a CRT is basically like a big capacitor. Once it’s discharged, it’s discharged. I made sure my screwdriver was touching the prongs/leads and that the CRT was discharged before I grabbed the anode cap. That’s why it was safe to then grab the cap since it was definitely discharged and there wasn’t any spark. I could struggle and put a lot of force onto the anode cap by trying to pry it off with my screwdriver or I could gently push it down with my hand to get out one of the prongs and then remove the whole cap...
LOL! I thought you didn't use the footage I sent you until I was casually watching this video today and saw my channel name at the bottom and realized that I was watching myself LOL!

Hallo sir, its a very helpful Video. THANK YOU. Do you know What it means, when you turn on a macintosh SE 1/40 and there is a short speaker noise Signal, the Computer does not Boot up and after some seconds the Finder Massage says: "damaged program or program in use: Finder"- Press Button to restart. And you cannot do anything Else with the machine, than to Restart it or turn it off
