Hey, I'm an 19 year old film student from Belgium. Armed with a camera, a mic, a computer and a passion for storytelling, I'm on a mission to capture life/the human experience, whatever that may really be.
My main goal is to translate interesting (usually everyday) stories, emotions and moods into audiovisual treasures...
This is an invitation to embark on a journey of connection. I want to ignite sparks of inspiration in my viewers and I want them to feel connected to my work. I want to show you the world in a different light. This channel is for all kinds stories (sad or happy) and all kinds of people. Everyone, really.
It might not be very clear what my niche is and the RU-vid algorithm might not like this but all I know that it's here and it's here to stay, for now. Maybe my niche is lifestyle? Maybe it's tech? At this point, I don't know.
@@ArnoLouwagie Thanks, I Purchased it too, enjoying it on my Mac and PC(windows), though, have to download 3rd party software to tweak the DPI and colour modes. :)
"I convert the digital (HDMI) signal to an analog signal" - no, you did NOT, you just used a bunch of connectors and convertors, but didn't do anything on your own.
Are you kidding me right now? Get the f*ck out of here😂😂😂 A painter also uses a brush/tool right? He isn’t going to use his damn hands or telepathy. Do you also say butchers don’t cut their own meat because they use knifes? I used a bunch of converters as tools to convert a digital (HDMI) signal into an analog signal (RF), which is something that you pretty much always need a ton of converters for (unless you get yourself a super expensive RF modulator that has an HDMI port on the back or if you create and integrate some sort of custom circuit board that can do it all, but I never said that was what I was going to do). The video’s title is ‘’HDMI on a 1980s TV set’’, and a tutorial on how to use HDMI devices on a television from the 1980s is EXACTLY what I gave you. Now please, do yourself a favor. Delete this ridiculous comment and just enjoy the rest of your day :)
I always found it strange that outside the U.S., CRT TVs had the rim of the tube exposed, unlike North America with the rim protected by a plastic bezel
It’s awesome. I had a lot of fun doing this. Just watch out for how strong your setup is/how strong the signal you’re sending out is. Usually, it’s illegal to send out a semi- strong analog signal. It all depends on your local laws. So keep it LOW power and check your local laws. Have fun! ;)
There are rf modulaters that accept HDMI input so you don't need the HDMI to AV converter. This also gets better picture quality since when you convert HDMI to AV you are converting 1080 to 520.
What can you actually do with these kinds of Computers? Can it work with PDF? I have a few old computers and want to use them, but I neither know how nor what for.
In the early OOs I had a flat screen CRT TV... I want to say 46” (4:3 aspect ratio) and a 14” iBook G4 with an S-Video dongle. The TV had an S-Video in port. It would blow people away when they saw my iBook’s Mac OS X desktop on my TV 😂
Tears of nostalgic joy from the ps1 part 😁 Very fun video to watch,i had lots of e-scrap in my hands through my childhood but due to not knowing electronics i dumped them away. That tv looks so beautiful despite its age! Also in the movie part you reminded me how id sit and watch Lara Croft with my siblings Good job bud 👍
What a great video, I was 13 years old in 1984 and we got our first colour TV a few months before the Los Angeles Olympics of that year. A similar one with the tuning stylus. Great memories.
I have a 32inch Panasonic tube tv that is nowhere near obsolete. In fact I watched yesterday’s football on it using a digital converter box, I watched a vhs movie using my vhs /dvd combo player, and played my Sega Genesis on there as well. Definitely not obsolete.
Hey, Great video! Your cinematography and story writing skills have come a long way and I really enjoy this new style of content you're doing. Keep up the good work
Thanks man! Means a lot to me as my channel is pretty much dead now. Also, I know we only talked to each other and worked with each other online, but I really enjoyed doing that. Good times lol. Best of luck :)
I got this mouse from my older brother. It is having Double clicking issue & scroll wheel working pretty wobbly. Reliabilty trash, or not sure how hard my older brother used for tough gaming sessions in Apex Legends. Also, double clicking can be resolves by clicking slowly. ; / I'd prefer Logitech
Completely understand the fact that you prefer Logitech but I haven’t had any reliability issues with this mouse. I use it daily and it still works like new lol. Maybe your brother gave it to you because it was getting janky/worn out ;)
I am trying to put a raspberry pi into one of those 5 inch tvs. I actually made my own antenna plug from an audio cable. I just had to split a coaxial and an aux cable and solder the center of the coaxial to the wire corresponding to the last ring on the aux cable and then also you need to solder the outer grounds together and then mine worked. it looks suuuper janky but I couldnt find anything online similar to the cable io needed
can someone help me out? i have this same set up for my tv but for some reason i get video on channel 3 and my audio on channel 4 does anyone know why im having this isssue
It’s normal to be able to pick up something on both channel 3 and 4 (even if you only pick VHF 4 for instance). You probably just have to adjust the signal on 3 or 4 to get both audio and video.
