Remove screw on the bottom, gently pry apart.

Re screw on the bottom, the painted cover unclips, takes a little prying.

I've never took them off.

I only done the fender mirrors

It is on the hood. I never used the shims, I had to replace the whole arm, because they wouldn't sell just the glass.

But isn't that mirror used so you can see the blindspots? Ive almost been hit a bunch of times by big trucks that don't seem to be able tos ee me on the right side. I'm thinking its because of this mirror@@millsmotorvation
