The first completed project of 2024 🎉. A pair of traditionally made Mackintosh Rose inspired stained glass door panels. These are heading all the way to Boston, Massachusetts for fitting ☘️

Thanks for sharing the longer version. Before I had an accident & broke my arm really badly I used to make stained glass designs. Just watching you break glass makes me happy!

I would love to see you do a short on how you manage to cut angled came so easily without crushing it. Is young no life super sharp? Are you super strong? Is it a particular composition of came?

It's just standard lead came and a very sharp Don Carlos lead knife 💪

The glass is all around 3mm thick, I mostly buy from Pearsons Glass in Liverpool but it's always best trying to find somewhere near to where you live. Cheers for watching 💙💚

What kind of glass are you using? Who makes it?

Most of this glass is 3mm art glass made by Wissmach 👍

I maybe grind 5% of the work.. Less grinding means a more productive day 😁

In this one 1/4 round in the main design and 1/2 flat on the outer edge 🫶

Привет. Прямо руки чешутся попробовать. Этому можно посвятить жизнь.С Рождеством. Проясните несколько моментов. Свинцовый профиль фабричный или , как в старину сами льёте? Эскизы сами делаете или есть дизайнер? После пайки затираете для цементации , чтобы не болтался витраж, какая то паста на основе цемента?

I buy the lead came from the stained glass suppliers buddy. I make all the templates myself, made to the exact sizes required. The cementing process is discribed in pretty much each an every video I post on RU-vid 🍻🫶

Thank you buddy, I grind around maybe 5% of the glass cutting. Saves more time being accurate 🫶
