Stained Glass Making, Poppy Window Week!

A couple of sets of these little poppy flower windows were completed this week in the workshop. A nice little project I made to compliment an existing old leaded window in my clients home 🙂

Man I love your work flow, I’m self taught and have been doing it for 15 years, and you make me feel like a beginner. Your techniques are amazing and have opened my eyes up to rethink how I do what I do. Cheers!

Cheers buddy, to be honest I feel a little lazy compared to a few years back when I worked with my dad. On a good month we'd use around a miles worth of lead came 🫨.. It didn't seem that crazy at the time we were just busy 😂

It's great to see some close up of your techniques. Any chance of a tutorial in how you cut the lead? I'm forever getting it wrong and am amazed you can cut it without smashing it's shape.

It's a Silberschnitt model but they stopped making them many years ago 😭

Thanks for watching buddy. It's may be 70% single glazed method fitting and 30% made for fitting inside double glazed units
