I never saw Aya as a bad person. Psychopathy is a genetic trait, and it seems like she inherited it from her father. She never understood or comprehended pain, and nobody taught her that what she was doing was wrong, in fact, her parents encouraged her. Even as an adult, despite following in her father's footsteps, she was a lot more ethical, only experimenting on poor and dying people who never had a chance at life in the first place, and always giving them anesthesia before killing them. She still took the pain of her father's subjects and the promise she made to Dio into consideration. I'm not justifying her actions in the slightest, I just feel like she isn't exactly a bad person, just misguided
This is describing how crazy Aya was. She was as crazy as he dad. She killed little animals and stuffed them in her drawers. Hint hint, "Don't they look prettier if they stay still."

I never really viewed Aya as a bad kid or even demented because she never meant any of what she did if she lives really. She understands it when she's older but when she's younger no one explained it to her no one explained that hurting another is bad they actually most of the time encouraged her.
Pretty much bang on. Sociology tells us the kids are what their socialization period (learning to live in society) makes them into. Psychopaths don't just "suddenly" appear without a reason, despite contrary belief. Consider Aya never stepped a foot outside the mansion and living in the same house as her "not-so-sane" father, a easily jealous mother and a maid that ignores her, I'm surprised Aya grew up as kind & loving to her family as she is.

It was written centuries ago, /then/, just like in this case, "fanmade" lyrics written by William Chatterton Dix came out, making "What Child Is This" out of it. So, no, it's not based on a Christmas carol, turning a Christmas song into a song about killing stuff would be wrong. - Second of all, yes, there is a reference to Ib. Yes, it was done on purpose. Yes, everybody who played/watched Ib know what's up. - Third of all, yes, we all know that Ib and Mad Father are games made by two diffrent people, they're not related. Hope I didn't sound too harsh but in the past almost 3 years since the video's been out there's been nothing other than fights over those three matters and since I read /all/ the comments, I honestly got a little bit tired of it. I miss 2013 with all of these horror RPG games! Honestly it’s so nice coming back here to listen to them or rewatch people play it from 2013, it’s nice it gives you 2013 vibes! actually she did when she was a child we can see it in the remake version (SPOILERS AHEAD) and we also know from the blood mode that she never understood why hurting living things was bad, so probably she hurted snowball many times and it got cloned to not let her know also when she kills the dog she only says sorry because when she was little her father told her to say sorry when you hurt living things not because she actually cared let's just say she's like her parents

Okay for some goddamn reason I think Misao, Mad father and the witches house is connected to each other. Like first there is the witches house. U remember violet from there right? Blue eyes, blonde hair. And now think back that time where we had to give a girl in mad father her eyes back and the eyes were blue, like violets. Than when we see the girls whole face, she looks just like violet from the witches house, she even had the same hairstyle. But It's not done yet. Now after mad father here comes Misao. The girl "miss Library" for some reason looks JUST LIKE AYA. When she gets scared of Thoma in the library, we can see her eyes for a moment. Her eyes are blue, like Aya's. Her hair is black, like Aya's. And miss library even has the picture of Aya's mother in her room and alot of other hints and things that were in the mad father game like Aya's red bow, a book that said exactly the same things it also said in mad father, or those dolls in miss librarys room that were exactly the same like the other dolls in mad father. And even the Salesman, "Ogre", is the same in Misao, just with another name. Sorry If my english was trash
It's confirmed that they're all in the same universe continuity..... For some reason I, I want it (Mad Father) to had sequel seriously..... Expand their universe... I think the demon Ogre is a true last boss...
I thoroughly believe she became like her father...When she was doing a "check-up" she injected anesthesia to the patient but you don't need to do that for a check-up. So unfortunately Dio and Maria failed.
Yea... The only difference between Aya and her father is the motivation. Aya seems to do it to prevent her patients from suffering, her father - to keep them beautiful. Also I don't think Maria really cares, for she doesn't know any better than accisting a mad scientist/doctor (well, besides starving on the streets). At least Aya doesn't abuse her...
Happy (late) 10 years to this gem!!! It has lived in my head rent free ever since i found it way back when in 2016/2017 and to this day, i still sing these lyrics when hearing Greensleeves (or just spontaneously humming them to feel better) It's almost like a lullaby...an olden golden lullaby :)

This is Greensleeves. It's a love song written by a British pianist in the baroque era, I think. I'm not sure about the composer stuff but I know it was written to seduce a woman.
After listening to it couple of times...YOU EVIL... The critters & birdies are "prettier" if they stayed still? Daddy's little girl ALREADY? Flowers are ok, but WHY specifically RED, BLUE & YELLOW? And PICK THEM until they DIED! You massacred Ib & Garry! (Mary doesn't count...dammit spoiler) Chainsaw...canon event, but did she actually enjoyed it while doing so? She was hesitant to use the chainsaw in-game against living things... While the ending was highly open ended, did you really have to make the cute little Aya a psychopath in her childhood? However, the song is well written & sung well. Kudos to that, but it's a bit sadistic for my tastes.

Greensleeves was originally a traditional English fork song, King Henry wrote it for Anne Boleyn as a love song,( then her head got chopped off but oh well. they were romantic). Now it got put on ice cream cars in Australia, it plays this every time it passes somewhere! Funny to think a song played in Elizabethan court got put on an ice cream car!
This is so hauntingly beautiful, and it's pretty perfect for the aftermath of Aya after her father tried to make her into a doll xD Vroom Vroom. That is all.
