The Madd Hatter is one of my favorite Batman villains. So underrated and I still think he needs a movie appearance and I think if there's another Arkham Game the Madd Hatter needs to be the main Villain!
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is going to take place in the Arkhamverse, probably will get a mention/easter egg at least, the other big Batman related game is Gotham Knights, more likely he'd appear in that one since Kill the Justice League already has Brainiac as a mind controller.

Jervish Tetch / the Mad Hatter: one of the more criminally insane villains of the Batman. This incarnation is not obsessed with a single "Alice" character but instead "friends" for his "wonderland"... by wonderland we mean an area of underground gotham. see gotham is built on the ruins of "old gotham" a former habitat of pirates and smugglers from a century past. Tetch intends to make this his wonderland. if that wasn't creepy enough, he uses stolen bodies from morgues and graves to do so. a string of body snatchings has Gotham up in arms with fear when the Batman first discovers it is Tetch behind the grotesque crimes. Only discovering this after Tetch had gone as far as kidnapping live residents of Gotham and keeping them down in his necromantic lair. those who escaped lived to tell and those who failed at escape were killed and kept forever or at least until the authorities and Batman could "rescue" or retrieve their corpses. He's the first resident of the Arkham asylum wing of the Arkham institute

I like how in different mediums Mad Hatter is a good friend with the Scarecrow. Batman 🦇 TAS and the Long Halloween. Jervis is a warped and disturbing man ,who if you're smart, you never should turn your back on.🎩
*I remember this character from a video game* called “Outlast” that was obsessed with finding a Bride so much that he mutilated men to make them his “wife” (if you know what I mean) If they did that in a Batman movie with Mad Hatter and Alice instead of a Bride - with like a David Fincher vibe.. it’d be movie of the year.

This video is really well done. I always find the rouges gallery’s relationships with one another much more satisfying as well as complicated. The rich history of Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman was fleshed out nicely in the Joker Wars and for example Selena as a long history with Dr. Crane/Scarecrow and their hate for one another. The tv series Gotham did a great job choosing to develop a historic relationship with Oswald and Riddler too. I hope the HBO series about Penguin as a king pin gangster introduces Black Mask as a primary rival.
Mad Hatter would be perfect for The Batman sequel. Another serial killer that kidnaps blonde haired, blue eyed women to be his "Alice" to live out his sick Alice in wonderland fantasies. He could also use hypnosis to make the poor girls he kidnaps submit to him (to make it more realistic, ditch the machines and make him do it all with his words and hypnosis techniques). Maybe Vicki Vale could be his "perfect Alice" who he kidnaps. Now Batman would have a villain that made it VERY personal
I thought the same exact thing don't make him a killer more like a sex offender and rapist who loves to kidnap pretty young blond women and torture them.
@Brooklynsspiderman I wouldn't put money on that, especially since *the Batman(2022)* takes place during Batman's 2nd year of crime fighting and since the 2004 animated series takes place during Batman's 3rd year of crime fighting, we might as well expect for Batgirl and Robin(Dick Grayson) to come into the picture
By far the most underrated Batman villain as much as I like the BTAS Mad Hatter episode I like the comic book origin for Jervis better as it's not the cookie cutter he was abused/bullied that's why he/she is bad now lazy narrative. His perfect day he had with Alice ruined Jervis' life due too his obsession with it. kind of the opposite of Joker's It takes one bad day mantra
You just wait til he starts a group of villains known as the Gang from Wonderland, which consists of Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the White Rabbit(an 8ft 5in tall giant albino rabbit that employees various trick pocket watches), the Spring Hare(a schizophrenic anthropomorphic jackrabbit), the Red Queen(a woman with an affinity for severed heads, designer axes, and golf clubs along with croquet mallets that look like flamingos), even Cheshire would join in the fray since she looks the part
they just skipped the gotham version? while really diff in many ways this version got some really fresh stuff going in and giving him a true alice to chase and care was a nice touch
He is pretty iconic i love the animated series version as a kid and those Batman Arkham versions of him mind playing everyone was a fun challenge mode great side story.
I get the picture for mad hatter to be a super interesting good character you have to play the character to his best strengths because his concept could fall flat and suck or be one of the most interesting Batman villains
I wish you put more of the live-action version of the mad hatter I don't want from 2014 Batman pre quel show Gotham I know that was a bit crazy but he was good.

His backstory gets kinda f*cked around the Arkham games. I listened to the audio files and I almost felt sorry for the guy, then I remember he's insane.
I’m hoping they use him in the Matt Reeves films. They could make him like a mobster therapist who’s obsessed Alice in Wonderland. I could see Jonah Hill pulling that off

I just cant see Jervis as a bad person. He is abused and just wants to be loved. I know that feeling and its why im one of the many Jervis's out there. I live as Gotham's Jervis now. Its not cosplay. Its a lifestyle and drinking tea has eased my anxiety greatly as well. I already liked tea but now more and I can see why he drinks it besides being Gotham's Mad Hatter. I wear his outfit from Season 5 with the carryable teaset. I just feel like him and im quite lonely. Ive been single my whole life like many and im not saying I wont find love but humanity makes it hard. I want a gentleman like Jervis in my life and as a gay man its also hard. I either need a male Alice or we both be two Jervis's. Anyway; Jervis is the ideal man in my eyes because at least you know he wont let you go and be loyal. Who wants a man that isnt. It makes no sense. I like a possessive man when we share the same intimacy. Jervis should be shown more and he should be given a lover. I cant stand seing this man sad and being bullied by everyone.

Good for the most part but the script needs work. Lots of repetition and weird phrasing. "He's a member of the Rogue's Gallery, a group of people that are part of Batman's rogue's gallery" or something like that was really noticeable.
Or hmmm let's see man........what other kind of technology could the mad hatter have and use to control his victims minds huh...... Oh wait but first I was going to say like what if that actually WAS the case and all of the mad hatters HENCHMEN (you know because like ALL fucking EVERY SINGLE ONE of the Batmans enemies have fucking henchmen LOL you know....with their own style and shit like their in the movie the fucking WARRIORS or something LOOOOOL) but anyway man so yea......what if all of his henchmen we're actually being MIND CONTROLLED and not like they just WANTED to work for him of their own free will lol you know........then the Batman could like try and find a way to over load the hatter's subsonic sound generating device he's got somewhere.......inside of each and every one of the henchmen's fucking HATS LOOOOL......and so WHEN the Batman achieves this (because the Batman WILL achieve this LOL its not a matter of IF....but when...) Anyway so yea THEN ALL of the hatter's henchmen would then actually fucking TURN ON THE HATTER HIMSELF and would attack and KILL him themselves lol you know And then we'll never see or hear from the hatter again........lol......unless he ends up fucking dieing OFF SCREEN man looool that's sooo annoying because of that happens.......man hell just be back.......lol you know......that would suck........but yea.....

10th best Batman villain in my opinion especially the newer versions of Hatter. Manipulative, Creepy, and Adaptive. Not as good as Scarecrow but a lot more of a piece of shit than Scarecrow.
