Mel Gibson's run as Mad Max Rockatansky ended with Beyond Thunderdome in 1985. Set 15 years after the last it's often considered the weakest of the original trilogy but it's not without it's moments. Including the inclusion of Tina Turner as Aunty Entity, a bungee cord death match, a tribe of lost children and Australia's own Gary Stephen "Angry" Anderson. Headcanon! You know how the Mad Max movies are warped stories people tell many years later? And you know how Aunty Entity and Furiosa are the only people in post-apocalyptic Australia with an American accent? They're the same person. Thunderdome happens many years after Fury Road. Both sons of Immortan Joe survive - Rictus and Corpus Colossus - and become Master Blaster. They get control of Gastown from Fury Road (or that story is wrong and "gastown" is just the piggies), and Furiosa becomes Entity, and their history together is the reason she lets him live at the end.

Mad Max 3 is the Robocop 3 of Mad Max films. Still not too bad I love early John Woo but Face Off is also a classic Anyone in this movie from the Australian black metal band Destroyer 666?
