I was just going with presets to get an idea of how well it runs, if i could get locked 48fps at 1600 without too much graphical fidelity loss, that would be my goto.
I haven't, but can see it could be useful in some games. Possibly even mad max. When I was trying to look at the guard tower. I never even touch the track pad in most games.
Not sure I understand the question. I switch the native resolution if I have a game that needs fullscreen and doesn't offer the option of switching resolutions. Remember that the go in general is having to do more work. The ally has 720, 900 and 1080p resolutions. The go is 800p, 1200p, and 1600p and if you work out the percentage difference I'm the pixels it has to push its huge. If you tried them in docked mode, with the go screen turned off, you would find very similar performance between the ally and go at 720p and 1080p. In fact some test i saw had the go being a bit faster in some cases due to the faster memory but not significant enough to care about
@mart719 make sure you have resolution set to 1200p or a above . If the resolution is greyed out in the game settings, change it from borderless fullscreen or fullscreen to the other option. Thus should ungrey the resolution and allow you to change it. (Working from memory here)
@mart719 it is tough diagnosing problems this way. At work I'd say hop on teams and share your screen :) the reason I say set a higher resolution is that some games look at the resolution you are running at and decide that's the highest it can go. So some games I set to full screen and then toggle the resolution in legionspace and that works but games aren't consistent in their approach. Also I uninstall starfield as its such a space hog (pun intended) so can't just try it out
