Thanks for this ♥️ Mark was a guest vocalist for Mad Season and only contributed to a few tracks (Layne was the principal vocalist.) Lanegan always injects every song with "heft" and depth... whether it's one of his own, or if he's just coming in to sing. Love all the collaboration/cross pollenation among the Seattle guys ♥️ Every combination =🔥 McCready is phenomenal and is a common factor in many of these collabs. Time to go back to Temple!! (And more Lanegan... and Chris... and...) 😄 You do a great job of balancing all of the requests you get. 👍

Slip away, Locomotive and Black book of fear with Mark Lanegan were released on the deluxe version which was later released after Layne's death. The music to the songs were written with the intention of Layne writing the lyrics and singing on the tracks for a new album which never eventuated. After Layne's death Mark went on to do it in his stead as tribute and they were released on the deluxe version. Fun fact Layne drew the art for the album cover.

This song puts me in a mood, i hear and feel pain, love Mark Lanegan vocals fits the music down low like your walking in quicksand, very bluesy, i love everything about it too!!
