Mad Wheelz 105…Grip your ride! Are they worth it? 

Thanks Dude. 105 wheels are about as small as I like to go. I like to have a large enough wheel to eat up the imperfections and skip out the skater kryptonite rocks that like to take us out. I have tried some 90's but was just not my thing. I have to admit, the Mad Wheels 105s will probably move my Cloud Wheels 120s to second place. I really like how the 105s handle corners and do give a rock solid feel. And ya, the radius edge is a "wheel must have" to me. I have the Zoobomb 111mm, and they have the straight edge. On uneven surfaces, they jerk you from side to side as that straight edge hits those uneven surfaces. I like the 111s, but they can throw you if not careful. I have talked to Brian a few times. He is a pretty good guy. Thanks for the view and comment.

@@esk8ooligan Haha, 105 Mads are the biggest I will go but that's cos I love the low feelin of 85-90mm urethane. Yeah I agree, whilst square edge is grippy, it catches too much and on the back trucks that is a no-no 😱

Thanks and great to hear. I like the looks of them on the board as it makes the ESK8s look a little more like a traditional longboard, plus I like the racing slick look. I like the wheelz!! Appreciate the view and comment.

Hey Dude...ya, you would think, but there is still about 1.5-1.75 inches of clearance on the Hurricane and Zeus Pro. I was a little nervous going to a smaller diameter wheel, but have been running the for about 150 miles on each board and have not had an issue as of yet. Keeping fingers crossed and dodging any skater kryptonite debris. Thanks for the view and comment.

Ya, the 105s are quickly growing on me. I am thinking my 120 Cloud Wheels are going to get moved to second place. I still like a larger street wheel, so hoping that at some point a 120 version might appear. Have to wait and see. Thanks for the view and comment!!
