MADESK8 / Boosted 105's: Best Urethane Wheel? (100 Mile Gear Review) 

In this video, I test out the critically acclaimed MadESK8 Wheels, AKA, the reincarnated Boosted 105 mm urethane wheels. Spoilers, they're great!

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to ride on a lot of different sets of wheels, and I think these are my favorite. The only real downside of them besides the minor issue of the slight vibration, is that they're a tiny bit small. On a drop-down deck with the trucks drop-through mounted and a double-stack enclosure, ground clearance is definitely something you'd want to maximize, so having 105 mm wheels has me scraping a bit more than small pneumatics.
For the efficiency testing, I ran my board on my standard efficiency test route, at the same speeds as with all the other wheels, and was pleased with the results. You'll have to check out the video to see the results! I've heard reports that certain riders get pretty hefty efficiency numbers, but for me, these were very efficient.
For the range estimation, I used a combination of basic Excel formulas, the esk8.news calculator, and numbers I collected. Here's a link to the calculator I used: calc.esk8.news/
