After listening to thevaram albums by sounds of isha ...I had developed a strong urge to learn Tamil....I belong to Telugu language State...but I say Tamil is so beautiful language ❤❤❤

The full story of the song: This is called Thirukayilaya (Kailash) Thirupathigam and the last song of Appar ( Thirunavukkarasar ) before he attained Mukthi. This happened in the 7th century Tamil Nadu. At the age of 82, Appar wanted to fulfill his last wish, that is seeing Kailash. Determined, he started to walk all the way up North from Tamil Nadu. His legs went sore and he had to crawl towards Kailash with his hands. His hands worn out at one point but still he just had the determination to go there and see. When Appar could not walk anymore towards Kailash, Shiva appeared in the form of a yogi infront of Appar and asked him to go back if the journey is very difficult ( the final test ! ). Appar said that is impossible for him and its his life's mission to have the Darshan of the Kailash. Pleased with that, Shiva's heart melted. He asked Appar to take a dip in the Manasarovar ( The pond on the way to Kailash ) and he will get the Darshan of Kailash. Appar did so and when he got up from Manasarovar, he found himself standing in the temple pond of Thiruvaiyaaru, which is near Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu ! Thats why the phrase "Yaadhum suvadu padamal Aiyaaru adaikindra pothu !" --" I reached Aiyaaru without leaving a footprint" ! There in the morning twilight, when he got up from the pond and started to move towards the temple, there he saw the glorious among all sights ! In his experience the entire tropical Thiruvaiyaaru started to transform into a snowy mountainous region; Snow is falling in Tamil Nadu ! Where the garbagriha and the Aiyarappar lingam is ,there he was witnessing the sight of Kailash ! And whatever pairs of fauna he was seeing on his way which include: an Elephant couple(stanza 1 - This version contains only stanza 1 and 11), Hen and rooster( Stanza 2), Banded Bay cuckoo (3), Peacock and peahen (5), Red-naped Ibises (6), a Wild hog couple (7), a Black buck couple (8), a stork couple (9), a parrot couple (10), a cow and a bull (11) , he could see only the feet of Shiva and Devi Uma ! And when he finally moved towards the sanctum, there he saw what every human is unknowingly longing to see since many life times ! The True-Consciousness-Bliss ( Shiva ) was dancing in ecstasy along with the Manifestation of Mother Nature ( Devi Uma ) ! He also saw, Ganesha, Subramanya, Brahma, Vishnu. Indra and his clan of Devas, Asuras, Rishis, Siddhas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Kinnaras worshipping Him ! He saw Devi ganga doing Abhishekam and the Bhuta Ganas playing many kinds of musical instruments for the dances of apsaras women. From every direction all he could hear was the echoes of this enchanting music and the chanting of the Vedas by Rishis. His eyes with tears of ecstasy and heart with bliss, every every cell in his body is bursting with intoxicated raptures of ecstasy ! Thus he finally merged in heart into The Kailash, that is the linga at the Thiruvaiyaaru temple on the amavasya day of Ashada month. Later, he went to many other temples in Tamil tamil Nadu and finally attained Mukthi, physically merged into the Linga ( Agnipureeswarar ) at Thirupugalur temple on Chaitra month Thiruvonam Nakshatram. Visited adiyogi today and right before the laser show few girls sang this spiritual blissful song and I my mind felt so much calm, after coming home i was searching the songs with lyrics which I collected from the video I took and found this masterpiece and I’m happy that the song was as wished I listened at the temple ❤
