Imagine being trapped in a isolated place for a year listening to all those sentences of "cycle of hatred" and "Infinity Tsukuyomi" every fucking time over and over. And when you're finally free, you think you can be back to daylife as normal and suddenly you witness one of your most loved person dying before your eyes. Experimenting that pain will only prove you that the world has a cruel nature and it only exist cause of war system....so you decide to put it a end by set up a plan...the same that you listened every time during your stay in that place. You just can't call Obito a simp because of that.
There is really so much that indicates Obito's actions are result of his and Madara's ideology instead of purely selfish desire that it's sickening to me that people actually think he is a pedo or beta or simp or whatever. On top of that, it doesn't even fit the definition of a simp.
Yea, Obito is not doing all of that bcos of Rin. Obito wants to activate the Infinite Tsukoyomi to bring peace to the world, Rin's death is the trigger to Obito's path and viewpoint.
@@karentorres9158 exactly, if he really wanted Rin he could just reanimated her using the edo tensei jutsu or use rinneribirth to get her back. But he did none of that which clearly showed us that his mission wasn't for Rin but for the world.

How ironic, madara did create this world by simply being a common ennemy for all nations. Sure the current world in boruto is far from perfect but at least the great nations are stable and don't have conflict so madara did do something good.
