Thanks, ER for dropping this video as I REALLY was thinking about sitting this year's Madden out until I get a PS5. The reason I think many felt that CURRENT GEN was going to be lacking is b/c EA has given VERY LITTLE attention to CURRENT GEN. ALL we have heard was NEXT GEN, we haven't even seen any gameplay vids in CURRENT GEN or info which made it feel as if the game was going to be the same as last year's version.

Imagine having a 27 tflop pc vs a 12 tflop ps5 and ea having the nerve to call you “last gen “ 🤦🏾‍♂️ the pure ignorance

I’m ready for my boy to start getting information about college football.

My main concern is that we haven't seen any actual gameplay from Madden on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. This means we've not seen any of these changes in action on the current gen version. It feels like they are hiding that from us and selling us on only Next Gen additions, because the Gameplay changes look amazing, but we haven't actually seen what its like on current gen with all of these great additions to gameplan, atmosphere, half time changes, etc that are next gen only stripped away. Without any of those changes, the only thing that seems to be changing is the UI and maybe some animations. So I can definitely see why someone would say the gameplay for current gen is just the same game with a different title. I've been playing Madden for 15+ years I think. The new features and additions look amazing on next gen, but they don't seem to care about current gen or PC at all. Here is the proof: When someone asked why PC didn't have the next gen version EA_Blueberry, a community manager on Answers HQ, said the following. "Hey, Madden NFL PC fans. This is something we’re exploring for the future. We’re still early in the transition to next-gen and right now are focused on making the best, quality experience on new consoles before we look to upgrade other platforms." So clearly they don't care at all about current gen or PC at all. If they did, they would have offered both versions on the PC so someone that may not be able to have the next gen console could possibly have a chance to experience the full version of Madden 22.

Great Vid Eric. Hopefully this ain't just talk EA. Really looking forward to less 2 man catch animations and slow down of receivers when u have a DB beat.. Also hopefully some of the DC glitching get fixed b4 we think about cross play and drifting controller issues at play call menu hopefully is gone. 1 more and that's qb ball trajectory needs to be better and not so ea controlled

Coming from a Ps5 owner , Please do not spend a large sum of money on a console just to play a game that has a couple of new features. Just rock out on the ps4

Everything about face of the franchise and franchise modes will be the same on both? The menus yeah, well except for next gen stats, but not how it looks and plays on field. TLDR; it's the same except for how it looks/plays/missing feature

When they moved from ps3 to ps4 the graphics quick responsive gameplay made me go out and buy it!!! It’s next gen now it should be better in sports games and until i see better ill wait before i buy next gen!!!!!!!!

Good to see that EA is prioritizing ALL of their customers instead of those who have been able to buy a PS5, or a new Xbox. As a PC player I'll be completely skipping Madden 22. It's laughable that EA is not porting the next gen version to PC.

Looks and feels great on the series x with 120fps along with vrr and freesync premium.. the ps5 stays at 60fps.. was gonna get it for my ps5 but with Xbox doing 120 I got it for the series x..sucks cause I was gonna get all my sports games on ps5 but I’ll buy Rims and the hot wheels game for ps5 .. I can’t believe Sony didn’t have it ready for 120.. there’s a difference on 60 and 120..

I got madden 22 from gamestop today the mvp edition it came in the ps4 box but has a ps5 voucher code in it I redeemed the code the ps4 version is done can I start playing it on the ps4 version until the ps5 version is done does all mut progress transfer to the ps5 edition
