No way are people not holding Lexi accountable for basically exposing her sister like that in front of the entire school 💀 I definitely identify with some of Lexi’s struggles and traits so this is not a lack of understanding on my part HOWEVER c’mon what she did was nasty. She unleashed her traumas and repressed anger at basically having been a bystander all her life in a way that hardly puts her in a righteous position. Was it satisfying to watch? Hell yes, especially if you know that kind of feeling but don’t tell me she was in the right. This doesn’t make me like her character any less, I actually love how everyone in this show is flawed in a way.

right like showing the carousel incident was honestly so out of pocket and there could not have been any good intentions behind that. she literally just wanted to humiliate her sister out of jealousy, and lexi made cassie into a complete laughing stock, disregarding all of the sexual trauma cassie experienced. cassie’s in a really hard time of her life rn and lexi chooses to embarrass her instead of help her, just like everyone else in this show.

Lexi was going to redeem her. If y’all payed attention you can hear the line where Lexi says, “Halle Dust yourself off and get back on that pony.” Sometimes you should stfu and see how things play out. The whole school already knew about the event because it was recorded like many other things that Cassie has been seen doing on camera.

If you want to judge so harshly and be a dictator to what someone can and can’t write, write a script yourself and see where your”realistic fiction” gets you. Audiences liked euphoria so much mainly personally from what i see bc of the uniqueness of the script in how these high schoolers and their drama is portrayed yes maybe many other shows are portrayed this way too, but at the end of the day, this is sam’s story unique to what he thought and wrote. what’s yours?

I know it’s probably because it’s Zendaya and HBO… but the production quality on this is amazing. The cinematography is excellent, and the acting is phenomenal. It’s almost like someone told these girls, “hey, be the worst human being you could have been in high school and give us award winning performances. Oh, and don’t worry about how you look. We’ll make sure you look presentable the whole way through…”

I completely get that Cassie was made to be the enemy in this scene, but I can’t get over how in the last episode Lexi explained to fez that she was worried people would get upset about the play, but was also telling herself that her intensions in it were good. She was obviously more worried that her sister would not like it, but seriously?!.. how could she not know that having someone act out one of Cassies most embarrassing moments of life on the carousel not enrage her? What were the good intensions of that?

I honestly hated this. I l know Cassie betrayed Maddy, however; beating up you ex-friend to the enjoyment of others make you a terrible person as well. You are encouraging physically assaulting people. Was Cassie a terrible person? Yes. But Maddy was just as bad. The amount of times she hurt Maddy physically is sick. They’re both crazy. And her friend yelling that she deserves just further demonstrates what humanity has come to. If we encourage beating up people for betraying us. We’d all be in the hospital.

The play made me dislike Lexi as a character. Idk why people defend it so hard. Cassie didn’t deserve to be publicly humiliated and sexualized by her own sister. She had to know Cassie was not in a good place mentally and that this would trigger her. Getting her ass beat and losing friends was enough punishment for what she did. She is a teenage girl.. most teenagers make stupid decisions. Especially when they have mental illnesses. They made her the villain of s2 as if other characters didnt make horrible mistakes. Half of the season was her sobbing and making a fool of herself. I mean Maddie lied and got an innocent man sent to jail. Nate beat and held a gun to his ex gfs head. Jules cheated on Rue. Rue is the only other person who faced actual consequences lmao.

I think i just noticed something. Cassie had no problem fighting the actress on the horse but runs away the moment Maddie wants to fight. I think in that moment Cassie was still trying to be like Maddie and be a tough bitch and fight other girls but her evidently running away shows she will still never be maddie and continues to avoid facing her problems/consequences.
