@@lo7381 yea but its still rude asf even if she didn't know it was cassie. cassie could've been dead in there and maddy wouldnt have thought twice to check
@@wildonions3188 Tell me you haven’t been to a party without telling me. It’s safer to be hidden in the washroom, drunk and passed out than outside. You do not know how many times a woman is taken outside passed out, and people act like they know the passed out person.
She easily has the best head on her shoulders out of the whole group. She doesn’t always make the best decisions but she knows that and isn’t happy with it.
i feel like i'm the only person who loves both maddy and cassie. like i just want cassie to redeem herself in s3 by somehow causing nate's downfall, and making up with maddy afterwards... but that probably won't happen because sam levinson has a fetish for making cassie suffer...
@@viewsonic798 i really hope it will. i don't know if you heard, but barbie ferreira (who plays kat) is leaving the show, and since kat was sort of the person who hung the most around maddy last season, maddy doesn't have any friends left (other than BB, who is a side character with no storyline). so right now, at this point in the story, cassie has no friends left and maddy has close to no friends left. this is the perfect opportunity for them to make up and get revenge on nate together. and god please let cassie gain some self-respect. it is so sad to watch her destroy herself and others for a man who doesn't care about her at all. i'd love to see her go back to skating. the season two finale was a crossroad for cassie's character. i can see her going two ways. either she redeems herself and gets better OR she gets even worse and becomes a full-fledged villain. s2 ended so ambiguously that for the first time i have no idea what's most likely to happen in the future for any of the characters.
15 years ago I told my friends I’d never find love like that, and I never did. I always knew I was right, that’s why it’s important to ignore some people and trust your gut. Do you know why I’ve been single for all these years? Because I don’t live up to other peoples expectations, but that’s ok, because I exceeded at my own expectations for myself. Proof you don’t need a man to be happy or to feel loved.
Maddy has a lil inspiration of Selena Quintanilla style like what she would wear to perform at concerts specifically when Maddie's old friend dressed the same as her in the hallway.
I hate when people call her ghetto…like don’t get me wrong you act like an ass in front of her and she’ll knock you down but that’s only because everyone thinks she is crazy and that is her insecurity and what do you do about insecurities most of the time you laugh about them because otherwise all you do is cry, so if people continue to think she is ghetto and crazy, she will continue to be, it’s human psyche.
@@lverslane820 I said "usually" not never so....and it is not typically the same. I just see this a lot irl, and rarely the other way. Simple personal observation.
I really respect her and admire some aspect of her personality and bravery. Her loyalty is touching and her strength is truly one to be feared and appreciated for. But I know I could never be friends with someone like her. I'd love to, but I'd fear to be bullied or talked behind my back from someone this... visible. (if you get what I mean) She's someone I could not believe she'd stay beside me without actually getting into disagreement. idk if anyone could get what I mean, not everyone is meant to be friends with and sometimes it's just too much.
Same. I have met girls who are like her irl and even though some things about them intrigue me, i never seeked to be friends with them. I feel like they are just too much.
okay, after watching the Kal's back story, his boyfriend acted like some weird combination of Rue and Nate, and then when I rewatched Nate's fight with Cassie about who is crazier, a lot of the way he spoke reminded me of Rue during her intervention. The girl Kal's boyfriend hooks up with looks a lot like Suze, or some combination of Lexi's appearance and Cassie's style. They said that Lexi and Cassie's dad was popular with the ladies. I think that Rue and Nate are both children of Kal's boyfriend from high school. I think that's why both men left their families (*about Leslie, remember how someone asked her at the funeral about life insurance, hint) I also think that Kal's boyfriend married the Cassie/Lexi look alike and was their father (so Lexi made friends with the daughter of her father) . I think that Cassie's dad probably went cold on Cassie when he questioned her paternity (which is why, try as she might, she could never win him over, and ironically she fell for the son of her father, although she did have dad issues). I think that the final memory Cassie had of her dad in the garage was actually misremembered, it was actually Lexi, and Cassie was secretly watching. The dad wanted to talk to his biological daughter, but I think it is going to turn out that Lexi wasn't his daughter and that she knew that back then but couldn't say anything. idk who it is, but I am pretty sure Kal thinks he is the father of Lexi. When he went to see her family to ask about Fez he seemed weirdly concerned with keeping Lexi at ease, and I think the reason he didn't attack Fez in the convenience store was because Lexi was there, and he didn't want to look bad in front of his daughter. I mean why else go there and do nothing, he seemed to be threatening everyone else but then changes his mind when he arrives in the store? Also in the flashback, Kal's wife acts, and kind of looks like Maddy, I think Maddy might actually be Nate's mom's daughter, and she gave away her eggs, like Maddy tried to do before babysitting, or gave it away. So I guess they really weren't good for each other. Also I think that part of the reason Nate and Maddy were attracted to each other was because subconsciously they both bonded over both of them actually not remembering their first time having sex because they were both raped (by his father I think, and at some party)
@@cj1355 eh, you don't gotta believe me, but I feel pretty sure about what I wrote. I think paternity is going to be a huge deal in the show later, (btw in the jewish tradition the lineage is passed down matriarchaly, so you are only jewish is if your mother is, I think its because the paternity is always in question, I bring this up because this isnt the. first HBO show with that kind of plot point, there was a fan theory in the Sopranos that Livia was jewish, and that there are pockets of Catholicism that. are secretly. jewish but they only share this secret from mother to daughter, that's why livia said "daughters are better at taking care of their mothers than sons" a direct quote from the creators mother." I think this kind of story happens. all the time, but I feel pretty strongly about Nate and Maddy's first time, the only way I could see her being so callous about the issue (like not caring if some girl was date raped in the bathroom when Cassie was hiding in the bathtub, or lying and saying she blacked out the first episode) if it already happened to her and she was like "well no one cared about me"
I love the scene where she's trying out different outfits and pretending to talk to people on her phone. I don't think most girls ever outgrow playing dress- up 😆😆😆
What really "Crazy" about her is she is a regular girl just as others. But just a littel bit more spicy and honest. If I don't like you then don't like you. No hard feelings🎉
❤🩹please someone help me: i see on every yt videos scenes i didn't see in the show like for exammple the famous "b tch u better be joking" or when cassie is dressed like maddy. I can't find those episodes, please help me thank you
The part where she‘s dressed like maddy is definitely in episode 3 season two 🤔 and from what I remember the “you better be joking“ was in that episode as well
@@angelraeee that's true, but the reason i relate to her isn't because i had sex with my best friend's boyfriend and then got together with him or anything like that. i relate to her because i've also done a lot of dumb things for male validation. her 4am morning routine to get nate to notice her is extremely relatable to me. i've ruined my life and hurt those who genuinely love me, solely because i love a guy and wanted him to love me back.
@@paulanji at that point, you need to look into your parents and childhood and see why you’re acting that way. maybe get some therapy too cuz it’s not okay to be hurting everyone around u just for a man.
@@paulanji aww that makes more sense. I just lost so much respect for her but she was the first character that caught my attention when euphoria first came out, I also degraded my body for male attention or validation, struggled with insecurities and a dad that wasn’t there due to drugs … I hate that they turned her from an innocent victim, loving friend and sweet person into this manipulative victim playing narcissistic that does anything and everything to feel loved. She was not a bad person at all. It’s crazy nobody mentions how she slept with her ex’s best friend lol just her own best friend. I feel bad for McKay and Maddy. Wish we saw more of McKay’s thoughts and opinions on this whole thing
I think nobody in Euphoria is innocent, Maddy also did a lot of bullshit and she acts like a bitch. I like her in season 1, in season 2 I think they ruined her 😬
Ok i love maddy Shes my fave But what school 1:14 let their students be braless and wheres theyre backpack? Are there no dress code? Jk... i know its fake
@@sugarcomb9987 are you serious? Bro take your own advice, you’re the one crying over a LITERAL SHOW you’re so soft.. You grow up, out here contradicting yourself. ☠️
the fact that people in this world call this character "iconic" makes me question humanity and the future. She is not even remotely close to attractive.
Alexa demie is gorgeous. And the fact that a woman is saying this isn’t surprising. Women get so bitter and insecure when seeing a gorgeous girl. It’s actually sad and embarrassing, stop projecting your insecurities onto her, Alexa is successful, beautiful and has an amazing personality and sense of fashion.
iconic? this character is dead inside, that's nothing iconic about this kind of behavior and the fact young people especially young girls (when I say young I'm talking about 14-16 year olds) emulate this kind of behavior is so sad
