It would mean a lot if you helped me get to 10k likes on facebook. Trying to get monetized and once I do, I'll share how much I'm making per video on facebook to keep spreading interesting new Free.99 knowledge. facebook.com/reyestheentrepreneur/
I love this series homie, I'm fascinated with learning about peoples business, especially as diverse as the subjects your getting into. Very educating and entertaining, your the man bro, keep it up!
Thanks book of ken. Means a lot coming from you. Just wait for my new content with my girl. We're gonna start a prank channel. Ima break up with her and 3 months later after no contact and not seeing the kids, ima just show up and tell her it was all a prank.
@@ReyesTheEntrepreneur LMAO sounds like a viral plan to me ;) LMFAOOOO. If I'm ever in the LA area, or you come to the Miami area, we gotta hang out! Talk business!
Clients need to prepay or put a nonrefundable deposit down. That would keep clients from cancelling. Also, add a gratuity option on their invoice when they pay.
Rudy, my respect for you. Taking your kids to work with you it's of the best things you can ever do for your them. They will respect you for ever and those memories will never fade away. My dad used to take me to las huertas en el rancho to work with him when I was in Mexico. I now take my 14 year old son with me to deliver the bouncers... Oh yeah I also have a bouncers business.. By the way. We take deposits for all of our bookings. We hardly ever have any cancelations.. You should do that too. Try square for your deposits. It works perfect for us... Im in san Jose ca. And those water slides rent out for a lot more in this area. Good luck bro. And I bet your kids are proud of Dad....
The way you've been doing vids is great. I think riding along with experienced entrepreneurs is very entertaining to see how they're day to day jobs go. Keep it up bro I also would like to see the DJ video soon.
The best biz to have is like the one I had 25 years ago, Pressure washing apartment complexes in Atlanta, my daughter was born and needed Insurance so I got a JOE job as pressure washing is seasonal and all that money went , well, let's just say I love Atlanta nightlife :) I made $87,000 in 9 months and worked 5 of those 8, prolly less than that. I was doing HUGE apartments, it all started by accident though. I quit my job with no plan, bought a pressure washer from a guy in Canton Ga, I got LUCKY as hell on that one, $400 for a $2500 washer and he threw in a trailer. Well, I started doing houses at first and its good money if you get good with contractors, Ga red clay is notorious so they pay extra to get the houses clean after they build it. But yeah man, you can get a nice washer, NOT FROM WALMART!!!!!!!!! Northern, Amazon, places that sell the good stuff. btw, there was no internet back then so I printed 10K flyres and drove 10 hours a day putting them mailbox's. Now, you crazy bro if you can't hustle like my man Reyes, what is your excuse????? This man was homeless and blew it straight TF UP!!! But since I have to pick from the list, uuugh... none of them are going to do shit except the car detailing, but not cars, trucks at truck stops!!
I was in the Bounce House Business for 3 Years. Yes you can make some money but its extremely hard work especially if you have a full time. Delivering was a little tough but the picking up part was really hard part. Another problem is finding good reliable help. Its hard to find good help that are willing to work on the weekends especially sundays.
Best scenario would be you and a helper installing these and another crew of 2 taking them out and sending them to a warehouse u lease or own then having 2 people cleaning the bouncy castles so you can use them faster. Since you got 11 bouncy houses and charge between 200-350$ per day you probably make around 500$/day assuming u do this 6 days a week is around 3000$. You would need to have around 30 bouncy houses to cover expenses (employees and equipment like bouncy houses/trucks/trailer/insurance and lease for warehouse and have a healthy profit). Assuming one employee will earn between 18$ to 25$ an hour, u will need to make over 5000$ a week just to cover employees (if paid 25$/hr). Assuming one bouncy castle is around 4000$, u will need over 76 000 $ to buy them. Another truck with trailer will set you around 40 000-50 000$ assuming its not brand new. A lease of a 10 000 sq/ft warehouse place is around 15 000$/month (if you lowball it). Its doable but its hard because you are the only one training the employees. You need like a squire/helper that is motivated to help you out on this journey and be there for you.
great video reyes! i tried doing the bounce house business and im a pretty small guy it was just too much manual labor for my back but kudos to all the guys out there doing the work! i sold my bounce houses for a profit though so i did ok!
But Reeeyes ::) ....If you buy how to know if it is quality on this bounces. and Is there a inspection once a year for avoiding accidents? I know for a long time ago I saw that they had to blow air all the time in one of these, it was a jump tower and it was not about 30-45 min. BUT it was way back :) . Keep up the good work inform us on new ideaz starting biz :) Thanks really for the hard work you do!
the best thing you can do! this shit happens way too much in nearly all businesses, i run a detailing business and since i started doing no refund deposits, my business has stabilised a lot more.
I did the bounce house thing back in the 90's. Averaged between $200 and $250 on Saturdays. And another $150 to 200 on sundays as an Independent contracter. Gas was alot cheaper back then. And the jumpers were all about 15' x 15'. Easy fast drop off and pick up. And customers rarely cancelled. I don't think i could do this without charging some kind of cancellation fee. That's what our company did. And now they are probably one of the biggest mounbounce companies. Jump 4 Fun.
Have you ever had multiple bouncy houses operating in one weekend ? I live in a highly populated area. Literally covers serval counties. Busy for sure. With kiddos playing having insurance is a big factor. Sometimes even two at one event. After the initial bouncy house is paid off. It’s profit. Marketing will be a best friend.
For the gas. Also he should take a deposit with no refunds for cancellation on the week of or 3 days before event. $50 dollar deposit gone if they lag like that. Right or wrong?
Aye Reyes, coming up with the sleek beard. I love this kind of interviews with real business owners man, creators should make more of this type of content!
All jokes aside I honestly respect this man’s hustle. If you want it go and get it. Too many people just sit back and hope for blessings to just fall in their lap.
So the bounce house stuff isn’t a bad idea you will just need really good insurance to cover you Incase something happens. If it’s just you you could do the jump house with a buddy and and charge about $200-$250 like he does. Would make your money back in about 1-2 months time. You would need a truck and trailer or a ramp truck to really be able to do it.
I wish there were good info online that really shows the full picture. These things are expensive $2k for the good basic one, but what about insuring them? How about the labor? How often do they rent understanding you need to clean them between rentals? Then you have the cost of a trailer or truck. Can you really break even quickly especially in a place like the northeast where weather limits your sales?
I do Bounce House Business and when I get canceled I keep the Non Refundable deposit of $55 and $75 I have No time to waste.. I got tired of Cancelations .
@@brandonbryant1352 Not at this Moment I Only Provide Customers with a Contract soo they can be aware of Rules and Damage Cost if the Customer is Responsible if anything happens.. But yes Insurance is Recommended .
#16 This is more of a self made job. The apps are the same as a job, making money for someone else. You should do it. But it would probably cost $10k+ to get going.
Hey REYES!!! Saw your videos about making money selling on eBay and Poshmark. I used to sell clothes & shoes but now sell ELECTRONICS and have multiplied my PROFITS by 8 times!! It would be interesting to see a video where you try flipping electronics :)
Reyes The Entrepreneur Yeah just post some ads on Craigslist and OfferUp saying you buy phones, electronics, whatever you want, then let the leads to roll in from people looking to sell fast 🤑🤑🤑
He should take a 20% non-refundable deposit. People would be less likely to cancel last minute and if they do cancel at least you still make a little something.
Yeah I was thinking similar, charge a "reservation fee" non refundable and it could be done online. Then using an online reservation system you can get thier email and rentsl date. Next year you can send a promo email before the kids birthday party.
I have a friend that has a business like this. He makes good $$. And he usually only does that on the weekend. He has a regular full time job besides that.
C E S A R Yes sir he told me these last few month have been slow. Slowed down to a complete stop at one point. He told me now he gets a few calls here and there but because of the pandemic, that little side hustle isn’t bringing in that much $$ anymore. Good luck man. Keep grinding.
Around here there are some bounce house businesses that also rent tables and chairs to the bounce house renters. Nice way to make extra income with little extra work.
Nice video. I have 2 13X13 jumper. Me and my dad started this small gig. Let me tell you, it’s back breaking work. We don’t rent them out anymore. The jumpers a like new.
Great video! We had a small bounce house we bought for our kids but once they out grew it we started to rent it out during the summer. We only rented it out in our county to keep things simple..lol. we did this for about 3 Summers and then we sold it this spring. It was ok money but took a lot of time.
My family owns a party supply, and ive worked it before. To much competition literally. Yes early wake some heavy lifting but after finish all deliveries get rest of the day off. Most pain in the ass is product damage. But if you have the help its a breeze. find yourself working only weekends 💪👌👍
Please don't forget about that $250,000 to 1 million in insurance that you may need depending on where you live...oh yea you must have insurance...in Texas 1 million minimum.
I just think with any side hustle, try to get up front money or front end money,I've doing weed pulling, roots and all,I get a rate to show up that includes the 1st hour, different customers have different expectations,I let them know what I do,try to do more, but also tell them for some other landscape services they need another person so I am not doing everthing for a low price,I try as much as possible to work with people, yeah,a little off topic, but whatever you do,don't do it for nothing!!!
I do this during the summer and it's extremely hard work, it's usually start at 4am and finish at 1am then back up again at 4am for the same hours. Think the most I've done in a day is 14 jobs some with multiple items there and about the same in collections. I'd love to do it for myself instead of for someone else 'cause when it's busy with 9 vans they can make over £30k on Saturday and Sunday every week in the summer
