Funny you mentioned. There's actually an entire section of the Nepali constitution dedicated to how to draw the flag, to any scale, to the exact geometric proportion. Reproducible to any size.
As a mathematics teacher, constructing the Nepali flag is a delight. Of course, the instructions from the constitution assumes working on cloth, but constructing it on paper was fun.
United States: Good, it no longer seems that there will be any communist revolution, neither Marxists nor Maoists, we finally get rid of them Nepal: Good day, gentlemen. I am here to change the future
@Atlantic Pacific Actually it was just to make a joke, but even so, the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) led by Prachanda during the Civil War at that time if they were orthodox Prachanda Road Maoist Marxist Leninists, already in the peace treaty they renounced all Via armed and they became another party, but initially it was only the joke that the civil war had been won by the Maoists and Nepal is ruled by communists
@@piedras9663 well, the CPN has made our ties with Nepal bad. Indians and Nepalis are like same people, we follow the same religion, have same traditions and speak similar language. Just different countries. CNP needs to go and Constitutional monarchy with a strong federal government is the need of the hour.
I wonder if people realized who Videla is? The former President of Argentina who overthrew Perón during his rise to power as a military leader... No one has responded to that yet LOL
* Puts emphasis on culture and natural beauty * Sung by several people * No emphasis on war or battle (literally calls itself the 'land of peace') * Feels like it actually conveys a love for the country * Catchy melody * Is a MIDI Incredibly based Nepal
Khas kura (what people call Nepali), like many Indic language, underwent sanskritization post British Raj, as local leaders wanted to have Sanskrit-based Indic language become lingua franca of the region. This top down change actually fucked over a lot of villagers and rural people, precluding them from governmental careers and functions since their mother tongue basically transformed overnight as far as the courts were concerned. Unfortunately this Sanskrit as Lingua Franca thing never panned out, and English remains the lingua franca.
Nepal is gorgeous. It sucks how us Americans all know of Mount Everest, pretty much everyone does, but that's all we know about Nepal. We never learn about it's great culture, monarchy, etc. just that they have a really tall mountain.
@@Chikinbokbok Founded by King Prithvi Narayan Shah , a Gorkhali monarch of Rajput origin from medieval India, it existed for 240 years until the abolition of the Nepalese monarchy in 2008. During this period, Nepal was formally under the rule of the Shah dynasty , which exercised varying degrees of power during the kingdom's existence. Wow... To think they'd ruled for 240 years. That sucks.
@@saintlysylas Yeah, it does. Now they have one of the most unstable governments in the world. Their parliament actually got dissolved back in December because the leader of the communist party didn't wanna step down.

@See u at GABBA Because we are actually the same people. India and Nepal were the same country, culture, land for thousands of years . Both are different countries now, but hating your own people makes no sense. Just some external powers and few politicians are trying to create trouble.

British tried to capture Nepal but the Gorkha soldiers were so powerful that British Army couldn't have a stand against them. That's why they signed an Agreement that Nepal will send some of their Gorkha soldiers to UK in exchange of protection. And that's how Nepal remained untouched by British.

yes ..Its crimson red is the symbol of bravery and it also represents the color of the rhododendron, Nepal's national flower , while the blue border is the color of peace
The composer of the Anthem is the late Amber Gurung. He pioneered the use of electronic music in Nepal, and no, not EDM or that kind of stuff that we know today, I'm talking about the use of old school MIDI keyboards and mixing panels, controllers, etc. That's why the anthem sounds "weird", because the backing track was completely MIDI instruments, not live instruments recorded. Why MIDI? well, the anthem was actually quite new. And neither the Army, Police, or APF band was available to provide the instrumentals. So MIDI became the official standard for quite a long time.
I'm a Indian Nepali but I consider myself tibetic Nepali. A kirati descendant of the han Tibetans. We've lived under the rule of the tyrannical Britts and now the hypocritical Bengali.
