Please do the whole album! This is one of my favorite albums ever and as a music tech major in college it would be an interesting look at the album that dominated my senior year of high school.

I love how the more you know about Madeon songs the more clever and enjoyable they become

YES. Madeon is legit my favorite artist, please do more songs by him! He is such an amazing song writer, his songs sounds so simple yet so complicated and stay interesting while being catchy and accessible. Not to mention he is one of the best producers in existence

Yeah. Adventure’s an incredible album. I’m absolutely in support of this full LP breakdown. I’ve broken down a couple of his songs on my own before and found some really cool stuff (like the Caug chord right before the chorus in Pay No Mind), but I haven’t gone quite as in depth as you do, though I’d love to see some more comprehensive breakdowns. It’s such an incredible album and I am so glad to see that you’re back. I always enjoy your very engaging presentation style, and can’t wait to see the next one. As someone who’s an aspiring producer and an avid music theory enthusiast, Madeon’s an inspiration, so please keep going with Adventure. Can you please do Pay No Mind or maybe No Fear No More from Good Faith (both by Madeon)? I think it would be especially cool if you did Pay No Mind, because I am literally obsessed with the verse and pre-chorus to that song and there are a lot of nice sounding chord voicings in that song.

if these can be a weekly thing I'd be so down. Something I can show my musician "elitest" that dance music has a lot of theory and not as simple as it is.

Could you look at this progression as actually being in B-major and starting on 6th? and just borrowing from the parallel scale for the G-chord to make it major? Or would this be just not correct to what he is doing?

I wonder if he took any inspiration from Cazzette - On The Road. I don't think the chords are as complex but the tempo change seems very similar.

The bass actually stays on G in the second chord which makes it a D minor 7 arpeggio over G

This is a really interesting video but I can't help but be irritated by some of the misinterpreted chords. Like how the bass remains a pedal G until the fourth chord but you say it moves downwards.
