His dad literally asks him what his purpose in life is and why he even lives in the first place while his brother gets praise and love. He was completely ready to just starve and die if Usagi hadn't picked him up in season 1. Nothing in his life is worth living for him anymore but he fights to go back so that his friends didn't get him out for nothing. Arisu lost 3 times the people Usagi lost so YES HE GETS IT.
