I went to her Girlie Show in NYC back in '93 (it's actually 30 years ago to the day tomorrow 10/17/93---my God can't believe it's been 30 years lol) but anyway I can't remember if she sang Bad Girl during that concert. I do remember she sang the unreleased track "In This Life" from her Erotica album and all the hits from it, but I just can't remember Bad Girl being performed, so this must be the first time she's done it live. Sorry for the rant, but your comment made me think of The Girlie Show.
@@Christopher070 Thank you for your comment. She didn't perform Bad Girl during The Girlie Show. Same with This Used to Be My Playground. She ignored her beautiful ballads so many times. I'm glad she performes it now
Some songs half live...most of the songs playback as usual Madonna...I admire her but she was never a great singer...just surrounded by the right people...
@@davidgahan-ks5jhyep, she’s a hardworker, businesswoman, family-woman, still around and has this recent tour😉👍🏾 while most of her fellow musicians are gone.
A beautiful incredible version. It only took 30 Years haha 😄😄❤️❤️ Mercy is so damm talented (as are all of her kids) she must have worked so hard to be able to play like this. Now we know why M has such a big family...it's so she now has a live band to take on tour with her! 😄😄 Finally, does anyone think that she has started working with a vocal coach again on this tour? When she was working on her voice during the RIT she sounded incredible from the start to the end of the tour. ❤️❤️
Madonna is mostly known for dance songs - so any ballad of hers really gets the short stick in terms of concerts . She will perform Them, but not 3 million times like “like a prayer” or “holiday” or “music”… in a way makes them far more special. Also Bad Girl has very personal lyrics, it’s a dark pop song: perhaps she thinks it’s not great for a concert full of pop fans
The vocal track playing beneath her live vocals is so distracting. She sounds great, she doesn't need the pre-recorded vocals. Sounds as if someone else was constantly singing in unison with her.
Why do you think she’s not truly singing? Because we were all conditioned to think of her as a non-singer. I bet you would not think that of Joni Mitchell, Diana Ross or Barbra Streisand who are much older if you heard them sing well in 2023. Madonna’s had much vocal practice and training throughout her career, starting as far back as 1979. There were no Auto-Tune, Waves Tune and Melodyne when she recorded all those 80s and most of those 90s albums. She would *never* have had a record deal and a career if she was a non-singer. This performance is sung live! There is a low volume backing track playing in the background, but the live vocals are loud and clear.
@@DeuDeoEgo really open your ears lol i mean she has never been able to sing live this is true but come on just lip synch 100% to the record. it would sound better.
@@blahblog4322 you seem to be full of hatred, do you have any room for some reason!? NO! You don't 👍🤗 tell me you are over 50 without telling me you are over 50 😂😘😘😂😂
