After the more serious Evita and Ray of Light, it was so enjoyable to see Madonna return to her fun side (reminiscent of her early work) with this song. I remember thinking when this song came out that she really can do no wrong - her talent is so massive. Love that you both enjoyed it so much. Cheers!

Such a great song.. made it to #19 on the hot 100 only because of airplay. There was no physical single which was disappointing because it probably would've been her 10th #1

A good mood song with a psychodelic touch...a nice and happy memory of the end of the millennium! Hope you react to "time stood still" is a notable ballad from the film "the next best thing" where Madonna plays also a main role I think you would like it!

This was the third time Madonna worked with Mike Myers, I think? They had done some skits for SNL before, one of my favourites is called “Coffee Talk” that is super funny! This song is quintessential William Orbit. It sounds a lot like the liquid mix of Ray of Light and the song Amazing from Music. I feel like it sounds very 60s and fits so well the vibe of the movie. And something about her look in this video kinda reminds me of her early days, specially the Borderline video.

Well, you're right because was produced by William Orbit who produced the Ray of light album...and the song is all about psychedelic 60s 70s vibe.....the intro is like Light my Fire by The Doors

She and Mike always had great chemistry. You have to watch SNL's Coffee Talk and their Wayne's World parody of her Justify My Love video. They are both FANTASTIC and really show of her humorous side. Another one that shows off her comedic chops is her appearance in Will and Grace.

Ladies, please check Madonna at the 1999 MTV VMAs! She didn't sing, just received an award (and presented one too!) but there was a cool and funny bit with drag queens. Madonna's response to seeing drag queens in her legendary costumes was pure gold! You have to see it and hear what she said! :)

aaaah! Beautiful stranger, one of her funniest clip video! I really love this track and I remember I saw the movie beacuse of this song.... For the story, the song "Skin" was the 6th single from ray of light.... but was replaced by this soundtrack... Thank you girls, so happy to see your reactions.... With kindness... Definitely love William Orbit's 60s vibe to this track. And Madonnas voice is so dang beautiful! Not to mention how amazing she looks. I remember hearing this song on the radio the summer of my high school graduation in 1999! How the years fly.

She was game, playful and oozing with seduction in this video-opposite the usual goofy Mini-Me actor Mike Myers who was portraying a British spy character Austin Powers in the film that featured this song (Madonna co-wrote/produced with William Orbit) in the soundtrack. It was never featured on any of her studio albums, it was a little project between albums ut turned out a huge hit in most countries. #2 In the UK for example. She could not do wrong after the very very successful and criticly acclaimed Ray Of Light album. This showed a more playful side to her. She looks amazing in the video. Toned as crazy.

This was a fun reaction. Too bad it wasn’t commercially released as a single in the US. I have an import copy on CD. I think it was in competition with her Ray Of Light releases at the time. I think the only live performance of this was on her Drowned World Tour. Can’t wait until you get to that on your journey. ❤

A real hands-in-the-air song! I remember the girls I knew rocking this look...bare sparkly top, menswear style pant, skinny stilettos. I worked for a clothing manufacturer who made lots of those "going out" tops, so I was very popular whenever I brought home a box of showroom samples 😂
