I have a female elected parrot as well. She is still a baby, only a few weeks old. She’s just now learning how to fly and she just got all of her feathers. She’s the sweetest bird I have ♥️♥️
Madonna the eclectus hen having a chat. Interesting and engaging video. I support your video. Watched the video on March 26, 2022 rat like. Thank you so much
The tail wiggle when she wistles 😭💘 I used to have an eclevtus female after she passed away I got and ringneck parrot. Looking to get another female eclectus in a near future. They are just such weirdos of the parrot world.
My female Eclectus parrot says the words that Madonna says. She also says dozens of other words and phrases. I've tried to record her but she's camera shy!! I'll keep trying though and post her when I manage to get her to perform!!
A talking parrot is the best way for you (and anyone else who comes to your house) to find out what words and phrases are said most in your home. Be careful how you speak in front of these birds!
Why would I need to hide the words I use in my home? I am an adult, and anyone who met my bird would likely be in my home, anyway. I don't care if people find out that I also swear in private.
You can find breeders and that but i would recommend research first big research expect bites loud noises and other disturbing things also the females are more territorial and parrot beaks can do real damage any reaction to a bite they start biting more i would recommend studing and alot smaller species for a beginner because the bigger parrots can be quite intimidating believe me i been around them to a small extent and own a angry female budgie i can only imagine a angry eclectus or macaw or cockatoo also they need hours a day of attention or they destroy there feathers scream and get highly aggressive parrot beaks are alot different then the average bird like a canary they hurt even my small budgie has gotten blood before some are strong enough to break fingers not sending this to discourage just letting you know how hard they can be also not to mention the price is around 3000$ on the low end not counting proper cage size lots of toys needed to entertain but yea i recommend a budgie or cockatiel both good parrots to learn and cant kill your hands if there in a bad mood and usually the female cockatiels and male budgies are very docile and never bite once trained i own a male budgie to way different then my female.
Madonna is lovely. I would love to have an ekkie hen like her one day, but I also know that they can be aggressive. Madonna seems pretty chill in this video, but does she ever have her moody spells? If so, how do you respond?
All birds can have “moody spells.” If you aren’t prepared to deal with them being moody, then you probably should not own a bird at all. Birds have the intelligence level of a 2-5 year old human child, which means they are prone to tantrums and frustration just like a little kid. I recommend looking into BirdTricks, a parrot training channel, as well as Marlene McCohen’s channel to learn more about bird behaviors and what living with them is like.
I agree with the comment below. Any living and sentient creature has moods and different temperments. It goes with life. I have moods so do you. You wake up grumpy, have some coffee andf a shower and the world is great. Someone cuts you off in traffic and you're perturbed. But your world doesn't end there. Don't let another being's mood deter you from get a parrot unless you are unable to handle the normal fact of life that they will have good, bad, and inbetween days. Living beings are not perfect!
Madonna? You really couldnt come up with a better name for such a good looking bird? How about just "slut" lol. It is easier to say, at least. Nice bird though.
Madonna is the name Italians give to the mother of Jesus. Now, maybe you're thinking about the popstar. Why the hate towards someone who doesn't know you?
