After you kill Morello, the caption says to return to the bar, while you can also visit Lucas Bertone on the way. However, it is programmed in a way that first you have to drop Sam and Paulie off at Salieri's and then go visit Bertone. It is impossible to do it other way around.

There are two ways you can kill him - if u follow him up close, you end up on the airfield, but when u let him go a little further - u push him off of a bridge under construction, am I right?

There are 3 possible endings and this is the most common one. The other two are you kill him in his car on the road and chase him down to a bridge that's being repairdd and push him off.

Trivia: If we do not get a silver car earlier [in the mission of Salvatore] then later, even if we take the one that Morello came to the airport, we can not steal the others on the street :-) The problem - in the mission of visiting rich people, the prosecutor usually gets into this vehicle and drives away. We have no chance to steal it.

Somehow I finished this mission without heading to the airport. I was lucky that Sam or Paulie shot him once we arrived at the countryside. We were side by side and he crashed so I went near and Sam or Paulie got him.

I remember seeing some player with a scottish/british accent playing this mission back 2-4 months ago. The player managed to make morello's car flip over in the countryside. But then the player foolishly killed sam thinking that Sam was shooting the player.

You must be referring the Definitive Edition one. In the original, it's mission 17. The reason is because of a certain mission. You know mission 8 "The Saint and The Sinner" in Definitive Edition, right? Well, in the original Mafia, the mission is split into two instead and these missions are named as follows: Mission 8: The Wh*re (The part where you find Michelle, kill the hotel manager, and blow his room) Mission 9: The Priest (Shootout in church and escape from police part) And that's the reason why this is not the 16th mission in the original.
